This lot never learn, like. The cup and trophy will no doubt prevent them from going up yet again. Thick as fuck from fans to owners.

Training on a Saturday. What is this? https://www.nufc.co.uk/news/galleries/toon-in-training-a-saturday-at-st-james/ Woodman’s hair, though… -
Teeth girl?

Should be on commission, but if everyone used Brave browser (https://brave.com) and turned script blocking on it makes it actually usable and happily doesn’t give them any ad revenue.
-
I live within 1,000 miles of Staveley and Reuben, so naturally I hear stuff.
-
Howay I gather a couple of the other sponsors will be related to oil and air travel.

Get to fuck, man. -
Sort your lives out and use Brave browser, turn script blocking off. https://brave.com You'll be able to access pretty much any story on any outlet without pop-ups, ads, paywalls, etc.
-
Fuck me. I'll join up again and vote for him just for the crack, like. Think we all should.

Soon… https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10192315/Newcastle-confident-agree-Saudi-sponsorship-deals-rid-Sports-Direct-branding.html “Newcastle are confident they WILL be able to agree sponsorship deals with Saudi Arabian companies by the end of November as new director Amanda Staveley reveals work is in progress to get rid of Mike Ashley's Sports Direct branding from St James' Park.” ”'The Sports Direct signs I'm looking forward to coming down. It's a slight frustration when I go into the stadium and I try and take a picture which doesn't have Sports Direct in it.“
-
No more SD? Multiple new sponsorships within the month? Money for January regardless? Am I dreaming?

Newcastle 'Til I Die sung to the tune of Castles In The Sky, anyone?
-
Good thread! Howay the lasses.

Fella at work (Toon fan) is raging about Howe and bet me today that between now and the end of the season we’ll win fewer than a third of the games remaining and be relegated. Would you take that bet?
-
Closer to no hope than can’t call it. I will never understand people
-
If we don’t make at least five signings, I will eat a very small hat. Does anything Howe has said today point to the fact we’re going to be approaching things cautiously?

As Stan said, there’s no way he was ever taking the bait anyway. He’ll have been fully briefed and expecting it. The alternative is that it just doesn’t get asked at all. Is that preferable? -

Fair enough. It was Tom Parmenter, @TomSkyNews, for what it’s worth. My point is just that if it’s the right thing to do, to shed a light on it to what will largely be a new audience, should we not just let them crack on even if they live in a glass house or are “hopping on a bandwagon”? -
Where are people at after today, then? It’s a 4 for me.
-
We spent £65m+ one summer under Ashley. Anything is possible.

Honestly don’t know why I’m bothering, as the goalposts will just keep getting moved around, as always, but: ”I'm not sure if they should be asked of a football manager” Is this not saying it was irrelevant in the context of today’s presser? If not, what is it saying? “What exactly does a sports journo know about the situation anyway?” This clearly implies that a sports journalist couldn’t know enough about the Saudi regime to reference it, to me. Again, if I’ve misread that then please correct me as to what you meant? Like it or not, this is a massive platform for people (whatever their motives) to bring attention to everything that’s bad about the Saudi state and it will rightly continue to be used as such. Rough with the smooth, as I said. -
Precisely why I didn’t want him, along with the fact I wouldn’t want to be forced to listen to him talk multiple times a week. He may well serve a purpose there, but it looks like an amplified version of the Lampard at Derby scenario to me.
