  3. We also have an extra day of rest and no game this weekend. People should remember that if we lose.
  4. Disco has South America, I've got Bonny Scotland
  5. Just watched the whole game today, he seemed to enjoy a free role from behind Thompson along with McGowan on the other side (more of a 4-3-2-1 than 4-3-3). Didn't stick to the touchline by any means, drifted about plenty and looked to get into the box when he could as well. Most impressed I've been by him so far, but the whole team played far better in that new shape. Newton did tremendously for the second goal as well, lovely ball up the flank. He looked a different player moved inside and was a good driving force for them on the counter - has been playing right of midfield in a 4-4-2 lately.

  7. Just watching this again: dat second goal Kept the ball for the best part of a minute and think there were 14 passes made, taking us up the right and back again before Sissoko's eventual cross. Some great individual passes in there too: Mapou through the legs for Sissoko, then Sissoko's raker out to Cabaye, Anita's first-time pass to Sissoko and the cross. Best team goal of the season or am I forgetting one?
  8. I like Guarin. I also like OptaDisco.
  9. And where is that money going after that? Montpellier. Not all of it though. That's my point Trousered?
  10. Glad we tried to keep the ball for the last five minutes there. Worked well.

Speak for yourself. Some of us are ugly and fussy.
  12. Hate Paul Ince like. Cretin.
  13. Think it's from Sports Direct News again, originally.

  15. So between £480k and £1.44m saved based on those few approximations, with the truth probably somewhere in the middle. Effectively frees up the budget to bring in Luuk De Jong if there's any truth in that and if that's the way we're still looking at things following Llambias' departure (i.e. working to extremely strict budgets regarding wages + fees, etc.) From that perspective I can see the value in it as Jonas was currently a non-contributing member of the squad.
