Voted, I appreciate what he’s done for us but think his time is up here but not advocating a mid season sacking. His brand of football, high pressure and turnovers up the pitch resulting in goals has a shelf life. We need to evolve into a possession team to mix it with the elite consistently and I don’t think he’s the guy to do that as it’s not his style. He has been hampered by DoF issues and limited budgets in comparison to top six teams but other teams with lesser budgets can give those teams a tough time. A lot of of our problems stem from the fact we can’t retain possession when pressurised, our passing in the final third is poor, we leave massive gaps between defence and midfield that the opposition operate in and are straight on to our defence. We can see this but he and his staff haven’t addressed it and I don’t have faith he can.

Don’t know what happened to this guy, was doing alright. I think his downwards trajectory coincided with Wissa’s return. Maybe he needs to be played continuously and not chopped and changed. Who knows.
