  1. Realities of FFP unfortunately.

    Next season

We can’t have another injury hit season so I reckon we’ll get 4th next year.

    Tosin Adarabioyo

I think (I hope) tomorrow after the initial disappointment most will see the football projects heading upwards and this is just a minor blip. More positivities than negatives. Plus the euros in few weeks should be a distraction.
  4. We’ll see re this keeper but Bruno and Isak signed for us when we weren’t in europe. I think a managers plans for a player and their ability to improve their game and being part of a project which is stable and heading upwards is more important. Don’t get me wrong the elite players want champions league but we’re not fishing in the Vinicius Jnr/Bellingham pool. The calibre of player were going to be after are a step below, good players with a stalled but back on track career (Isak) or players with potential to step up (Bruno/Gordon/Botman) and I don’t believe not getting conference league will prevent us signing that level of player as they should be able to see beyond this season. Nothing personal but I hope you’re wrong about conference football affecting our recruitment plans.
  5. Oh well, we shouldn’t have been in a position where we relied on others. Summer rest, some new signings and the league to concentrate on could put us in the CL places again next season.
  6. If he’s going, he’s going. Conference League wouldn’t have kept him here, some european games would have been nice but not a difference maker to a players decision. In saying that I hope he gives us one more season but if he doesn’t I’m sure we’ll reinvest well.
  7. Don’t think lack of European football will change the signing situation. Conference League isn’t a big enough draw to be a difference maker between signing and not signing.
  8. Palace majority co-owner looking to sell his share, sounds like the other owners weren’t into the idea of the multi club model. Also states he may look to buy into Everton if 777 partners fail with their attempted purchase. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c7221jz51e1o
  9. Where’s the talk of Pope going coming from? Would have thought Dubravka and Karius out leaving Mamardashvili and Pope with Gillespie as third choice?
  10. Good goalie but after a second serious shoulder injury it’s too risky not sign another elite keeper plus he’s 32 so only going to decline.
  11. If the opposition being Man U wasn’t enough.
  12. Jordon when it comes to the business side of football often speaks sense.
  13. 😂That guys never living that down (on this forum anyway).
  14. That Redcafe forum is full of idiots. We don’t give a shit about Ashworth, they can have him but must pay what we want, simple. This is all caused by them tapping him up, getting him to reveal confidential information, not dealing with us directly, getting him to hand in his notice thinking they’d use confidential information to lowball us and apparently we’re the ones causing the problem. As if we should roll over after all of that and take the pittance they’re offering, fuck right off. They’re making up bullshit on that forum as cope mechanism but if what’s reported is true we’ve got Ashworth, Berrada, Ineos, and Manu U by the short and curly’s.
  15. Not a legal expert but that falls under the section heading of “Employment of officials”. In other parts of section J it mentions officials except in J3. Could it not be argued that J3 is meant to cover officials which I would take to be directors?
  16. I want the ownership to stick it up Man U to be honest, go after them for tapping up Ashworth, injunction to get disclosure on emails sent from Man U and Ineos accounts, complaint to the premier league for tapping up to get them a ban, fine, points deduction. Really fuck their shit up. i don’t want the compensation and a hush hush agreement between clubs, let’s expose them properly.
  17. Don’t think this cunt has a leg to stand on. Was negotiating behind our backs, Man U didn’t seek our permission to talk to him, he accepted the Man U job a week before the claim that Howe’s comments made his position untenable thus a proven liar, states he was fired yet he still accepts a salary.
  18. They became owners by default because Suning didn’t repay a loan on time to them. They may keep them or flip them to get their money back so this really doesn’t mean anything. The owners have said in the past NUFC is their priority so don’t think there’s anything to be concerned about still.
  19. Redcafe thread made me laugh, the numpties thought it’s illegal for an employer to access work emails on a company server and that as Berrada was on gardening leave he wasn’t working for them ( oh yeah he was offering jobs at Man U without their knowledge 🙄).
