We need AI to do the decisions. And VAR needs to be black and white, no intended, natural position or any shit that can make human errors.

Its a interresting theory of the law your making out there. As always players will try to stretch the law in their advantage, and its a reason for the arm in a natural position. If the ball hits the elbow and forarm(not bounce but like the red mark in the pic under), is that a freekick/pen or is it ok? I bet you would get more elbows sticking out in various positions if that became the law I do agree with you that I hope they do something with the current handball rule. I dont especially like the natural position thing, because then its up to someone to judge if the arm is in a natural position.

The «other clubs» need to start making noise, but i looks like they dont care. hope we do something especially regarding that the Sela value was downgraded to 25M pr season, while Man Utd get near 60M pr season from Snapdragon. Even without the ruling hoe could they value us so low..

Lets hope he develops in to Collymore in the start of his Liverpool career and not Stan the Fireman player 😅

Cant just PIF say that if Atlanta pay like 25-30M for Miggy then one of their companies will buy an add at their place for 18-25M. Wouldnt that fix our PSR and as long as we are not directly connected with Atlanta it doesnt have to be a fair price..

Willock looks afraid of the ball, afraid of tackles. Shouldnt be thrown into games we are chasing. Wonderfull player when he is on form, but should get some pro help outside the field maybe..

Reminds me of the start of the season this display.

I think they will start feeling the PSR in the comming years. Leicester are talking about it, Everton and Forrest had point deducted, and more will need to sell their best assets or also face point deduction. Just hope the «rest» will wake up soon.

You have the APT rule for Premier League, but do UEFA have the same rule? Let say theoretical speaking we pumped in hundreds of millions per year from Aramco, wouldnt it just hurt us in the Premier League? Wouldnt PL just devalue our incommings for the PL financial rapport, or is it illegal in the Premier League rule? If its illegal by PL law and not UK law then its a possible law suit which could lead to the APT rule being removed. I would love if the 14 clubs came together(all other than skys top 6) and voted a new FFP/PSR/APT system that was equal for all. More and more clubs will soon understand that the current rules are unfair to them and not only us.

This refs performance reminded me of the Ferguson days in the 90s.

Regarding overpaying for a player My 6 year old neighbour also has time on his side to get to Isak`s level. What him and Højlund has in common is that neither atm look like making it to that level

You need to look at the time we signed him not afterwards. When we signed him he was comming off a season with just scoring 6 goals in La Liga, he failed making it in Germany with Dortmund. At the point when we signed him we paid more than he was worth(overpaid), and the "gamble" paid off because his price has sky rocked since even though he has been injured 193 days since joining us in 2022. I dont think Real Socidad wanted to sell him, so we wouldnt have gotten him for the market price. ie we had to overpay to get him. Howe has got the best out of him, so he has become a fantastic player and signing, I`m not sure he would have been worth as much money if Steve Bruce was still the manager.. Comment from Terry Gibson(Ex Man Utd and La Liga expert according to Newcastle World): “I’m not slaughtering him (but) I think he’s got some way to go. I can see his obvious attributes would be appealing to clubs. But I just think £60 million…what does that make Oyarzabal (Sociedad captain) now?” “Callum Wilson, I would say, is ahead of him. But Newcastle clearly are going in the right direction. Isak is a really good player, it’s just my mind was blown by the £60 million.” Example: If you bought Tesla shares for 40 USD in 2018(worth around 20 USD) you would have overpaid for the stock, even though it has sky rocketed since and is now worth over 403 USD. If you today pay 40 USD for the Tesla share you would underpay and not pay market price.

I must agree with Froggy, at the time we paid more than market value for him. Isak had 105 games and 33 goals in La Liga and had an known injury record. Howe did see something other clubs didnt see, and was willing to overpay to get his man. The «gamble» has paid off.

Bruno F is a brilliant player when everything goes Man Utd way, as soon as they struggle a bit he goes sour and often drag his teammates down with him. He should never been captain on that team, they need someone who can pull them up when they are down, not pull them further down.
