Defended for 85 minutes out of the 90. Soft, but deserved, pen for a the first. Incredible ball by Jonjo and clever finish by Murphy for a the second. Defending first half was a comfy. s*** second half. They had way too much threat and we offered no response. Stupid penalty given away by Shelvey. Horrid final ten until Gayle scored. Their keeper f***ed up. They barely created a thing bar the penalty Darlow wasn't worked, but they were getting in nice positions, we looked increasingly jaded and a Diame-esque goal or a sloppy penalty conceded are never far away in that situation IMO with so much time left on the clock.

Thought we approached the game much better after they halved the defiict. Give them something to think about, chase less, keep some energy. Would never trust NUFC to park the bus even if we had 11 Maldinis out there. Good grafting performance with a sprinkling of quality here or there that made the difference.
