RW, GK and CB. Get Wissa, keep Isak - and all is well!

Have so little animus for Palace (Parish, Guehi Pardew?) compared with Liverpool and Chelsea that I'm really delighted they won today. Would be absolutely incredible if the cartel got botted in the cups again by the upstarts despite placing their thumb on the scale this summer.

Might be able to get down for a Sunday game, maybe not the Saturday - so won't like the OP yet.

And not disincentivising new players from joining too. I think NUFC have to be seen to acting reasonably. Howe and a mature/non-petty approach helps. So reintegrating back him into the team with limited fanfare would be helpful if he doe stay until January/next summer when a non-derisory offer comes in. Hopefully the fans follow the lead of Howe.

Remember the halcyon days of DCL.

Probably the gazillionth post of a similar nature (and maybe the fourth by me), but the transfer market is now horribly broken because of the mega spenders. It's like Zimbabwean-style hyperinflation. Managed yourself sensibly, stayed on the right side of PSR and got £20m to spend in your transfer kitty? Nah, you can't afford anyone. It's a joke. Hope women's football learns early and adopts a socialist style NFL model before it's too late.

Should sign this guy.

If this goes tits up, stick Osuka up top and buy a CB with all this money.

That seems a tad harsh IMO. It's a function of the wider environment, where selling clubs are incentivised to incite bidding wars.

His contract will no doubt include a release clause. We just need to make sure it's inflation-linked. Not indexed to RPI or CPI, mind - but to Chelsea's funny money bookkeeping.

I'd prefer ending up with Sesko and Isak than Ekitike and Isak.

No time for owt else, or the usual song and dance

There is no incentive to sell any decent or promising player for less with the cartel around tbh, otherwise you're just losing a good player at under value.

Striker distractions is a bit annoying. They're both super committed warriors but another year of Schar and Burn's lack of pace at CB could be tough to mask at times next year.

Based on Twitter crackheads and forum injury experts? His agent could just be negotiating for a deserved pay rise. And even if he does want to leave to compete for a Galactico style club (no timeframe stated either from the crackheads) - yes it'd be a shame, but there's no thanks for: humiliating Arsenal, the coldest celebration ever or scoring the only trophy-winning goal of our lifetimes? Just name-calling? I just think jumping to calling him every name under the sun at a point when we remain so in the dark is not right. People can react how they want, I suppose.
