Hopefully this dispirits them ahead of their congested relegation battle
  2. 80 minutes of unfettered 'kick them to fuck' tactics.
  3. A Man City decision. Well done Atksinon. Now you need the yellow cards you lost at kick-off.
  4. Pen all day. Atkinson is having a mare.
  5. They abandoned their shape. Now they have to chase a goal, they'll be lambs to the slaughter.
  6. Gerrin. Now stop playing shite Yaya.
  7. Dzeko is such a lazy-fuck striker. Hope Negredo gets on.
  8. Cynic in me tells it's just a PR move to get this to blow over quicker/exculpate the club from any punishment. Pardew will get the £100k back somewhere else down the line in the form of a bonus. Don't see why Ashley would give a toss.
  9. Fuck sake. Just got so excited when Gary said there was breaking news. MOTHERFUCKER. I thought the day had come.
  10. "ahead of the rest" Oh, Gary.
  11. I'm not impartial and I won't pretend to be, and whilst my primary reaction was one of amusement, I don't think the 'passionate' argument washes with, not for a manager who shouldn't be involved in on-field action. Players, fine - it's understandable if not always excusable, but the manager should be a role model to his players on how not to lose your cool. Pardew's pattern of over-stepping the mark is more than a bit daft at this stage. Most fans hate the intimidation Ferguson used on officials, but at least he didn't physically get involved (he just instructed Rio to run the length of the pitch and get his players to crowd round refs). Pardew is a moron.
  12. Following on from seeing Gaitan's recent excellent clipped freekick, wondered who most recently and successful did an Argentina-vs-England (France '98) freekick routine?

Looked yesterday - think some of their threadstarters are bragging they have tickets tbh, asking the dumbest questions "So, erm, are we allowed to wear trainers inside the ground?"
  14. Think he's desperate to get some sort of interested bidder in Papiss Cisse between now and the end of the season. The regime must know he's a complete waste of wages who won't help their fight to stay in the league next year.
  15. Nah I'm only winding you up. He actually seems better tonight than the last few times I've seen him in the league. Still strikes me as a striker who is very easy to telegraph if you're a defender, and without the brute physical attributes to dominate defenders in spite of this.
  16. Just not getting the breaks. The finish for the offside goal was fantastic.
