I'm not impartial and I won't pretend to be, and whilst my primary reaction was one of amusement, I don't think the 'passionate' argument washes with, not for a manager who shouldn't be involved in on-field action. Pardew's pattern of over-stepping the mark is more than a bit daft at this stage. Nah I'm only winding you up. He actually seems better tonight than the last few times I've seen him in the league. Still strikes me as a striker who is very easy to telegraph if you're a defender, and without the brute physical attributes to dominate defenders in spite of this.
