Manchester City vs. Newcastle United - 19/08/13 @ 8pm (Sky Sports 1)

We're not gonna get the ball, though. Anita is much better at ineffectively harrying the opposition and sitting just outside our box than those two as Man City keep the ball for 8 minutes at a time. -

For me it's more a case of why did we sign him? Same with Amalfitano. Complete waste of time and money. Yeah, that's fair enough. In terms of the outrage at team selection, at this point it's like complaining you've got blood on your favourite shirt after your family was butchered to death in front of you. We've got Ashley, Kinnear and Pardew running the club. On another day, I would be complaining about the Anita thing too, but right now I'm too disaffected to be angry about details maybe. -

Anita's reputation grows every game he doesn't play! He'd have been mullered today as well, just for the record. Understand the merit in giving it our best shot (even if it is a uphill battle/we are underdogs) but the difference between him playing/not playing today is marginal at best IMO. -

Aye, he should just stand in front of the camera after the match and partridge.gif In fact I'd prefer it if he just did that every week. Better than hearing him talk -
For all we know, could be Ashley protecting his sale.

In fairness, we don't need an excuse to get beat by Man City at their ground. He'd be better off saving his ammo for next weekend IMO. -
Struggling to think what the next step in self-sabotage might be... stadium swap with Sunderland, maybe? Pay Crystal Palace £4m to take Tim Krul?

It would represent a 100%+ return on investment - which is what the game is all about, and something we haven't had as fans in a while, I'd take that over a slightly higher prize money award for finishing a bit higher up the table (which, let's face it, no one really remembers).

Yay. Drinking money. You're pissing your money away.

Professional WUM and cock.

Losing at home to Fulham is just about one of the worst results imaginable in this league. Surpassed by losing at home to the Mackems, of course, but there you go.
-
This does not look like a first match of the season game, btw. Far too full-throttle.

Howson should have passed left there on that 3vs3. Looking a bit leggy now Norwich.
-
I might not have found the surely entertaining 20 minutes to go quite so galling had you not reminded me of this. Wanka'!

Is Koscienly your captain?
-
Looks a good buy (still early mind you). Good direction on it.

Edit: I think Whittaker was shooting, but it turned out to be a missile-guided cross
-
Lovely. Whittaker involved again.
-
What a goal from Norwich!!

Sounds like the ref is having a mare at the Emirates.

2-1 Everton, Gary Coleman

Needs to post some better stats if he wants to be considered for MVP though.
