  1. What a terrible league. Beyond the Big 7 ( ), there isn't much between the rest.
  2. Low cross from the left from Bale - not an especially good ball, but between keeper and defender who made a hash, before Adebayor hesitantly slotted in from less than 20cm from the goal line. You missed little - now back to revision, with ya!
  3. Ekotto did well not to get Ryan Taylor'd there.
  4. Phew. Gambled by not making RVP my captain. Thankfully Adebayor got two as well.

    St James' Park

Newcastle will be unbeaten at home at SJP for the entire 2011/12 season.
  6. I saw a list of their loaned players the other day, it was quite funny. Got to the point where they're actually playing a different game to the rest of us "normal" clubs.
  7. Adebayor is my FF captain and I have money on this game. Also, Villa are nearest rivals for 7th (so far). Good start
  8. 2-0, 2-1, 3-1, 4-0, 4-1, 3-2 - £2 on each. (So it'll be 3-0 to Spurs and >insert poster I don't like< will have £450 riding on that scoreline).
  9. Aston Villa will sit deep and wait to get beat. Gonna chuck a fiver on 3-1. Edit: 10/1? That's rubbish. Allow!
  10. Man Utd is far from certain too. Defensively they're weak, central midfield not the best and attack seems a little profligate of late. Lesser teams very easily could have grabbed draws from their slender victories lately. They do love to field their strongest eleven, remember they're superstars and turn up when they know they're playing Newcastle mind you. With an annoyingly unerring and unflinching consistency. The complete bastards.
  11. I'll save JH a post and say none of them are safe-safe. With that said, Fulham struggle tremendously on the road, especially scoring and Arsenal look like the second or third best side in the league coming forward at the minute IMO. WBA-Spurs will be tighter, but that's why they're odds are close to evens. It's a gamble, but Spurs have the quality to beat WBA for sure. They have enjoyed an element of luck not to be pegged back when they've had narrow leads lately though - so maybe their luck will end here and WBA will grab a draw.
  12. Great value for next weekend. Thinking of putting £50 on a Spurs, Man Utd () & Arsenal treble. Will probably take Man Utd out though. CL value doesn't seem especially good to me.
  13. Looked promising to me. Wouldn't be surprised to see him back in the Premiership at some point. The deal seemed looming/done for a while though. Best of luck to him
  14. Just saw this was a Saturday 3pm kick-off. Can't remember the last time we had one against Man Utd. 2-1 to us! [/some smartass will post we've had our last four against them as 3pm Saturday games]

    Teams around us...

Be lovely if we could still be in the top four for Christmas Very unlikely, but would make the season that much better.
  16. Won £20 on Stuttgart, then £17 on Liverpool. Profit for the weekend up to £47 rising to £120ish if Spurs win tomorrow.
