Agree re: the lack of pace in Sunderland's side. Especially midfield. The athleticism of their midfield is comparatively poor which is quite encouraging. Sessegnon dropping back might help but then Gyan would be too isolated as he was in the first half against Liverpool.

Larsson doesn't have any real pace, so Ferguson/Gutierrez could do quite well running down their right and keeping them pegged back IMO. Defensively... well, can't be a great deal worse than our other makeshift LBs.

Any chance Ferguson could be back for this?
