EPL should have just said you play the game or forfeit it unless you have ten of your squad double jabbed and still missing because of Covid.
Of course you could still loophole by sending your injured players to Covid parties.

I don't think there is a conspiracy to get NUFC but I do think there is evidence that referees can an unconscious bias towards top teams, famous players and home players. Nobody ever gets a decision at A field.

We have effectively played 451 for most of the last two games and I think using the extra player (Joelinton) in midfield has worked in terms of competing for possession and making chances on the break.
No system survives the Clark and Shelves errors and sadly no team can survive playing Ritchie at full back.

It's such a poor excuse that Fraser didn't have the ball. If that's not a foul then goalies can start to tackle players that are pressing in the box without any worry. Take it further and you can do anything to block players without the ball anywhere on the pitch.
Kick the ball into the corner so nobody has the ball. Then get all 11 players to slide into the opposition without being too dangerous. Sit back and await another interpretation that suits the establishment.

So they're going to discuss fitting a gate once the horse has bolted?
It's how they are handling the PIF takeover so they have form

He’s easily been our most consistent performer since Howe has come in.
After Wilson, he’s currently the first name on the team sheet for me.
Yes, we bought him for his attacking ‘ability’ but the way he’s playing at the moment and with our options in CM I think we could do worse than trying him in there.
So second name on the teamsheet?

Hammond was a joke for Celtic part of the reason it all started to fall apart. Their recruitment was horrendous
Hopefully we have our targets already and Hammond is coming in to get it done.

Staveley has already put a shot across the bows with the letter to the other clubs. This will go to the courts (possibly a joint legal submission with Man City) as it’s totally anti-competition and restraint of trade
She also said she couldn't support the new PL Charter as she hadn't had time to read it. Just like Putin putting his tanks on the border whilst talking about peace.

You'd think that eventually offside decisions will be done with AI and be able to make the call as quick as it's done in FIFA.
I think FIFA are going to trial this soon

Should have just moved the party that isn't a party to No 10

If fans need a Covid passport to get in then surely the ref should inspect the player's passports before they enter the stadium.

Probably unpopular given his form this season but I don’t really think there’s any difference at all between Lascelles and Mings. Mings has more of a Bramble error in him that’s plagued his whole career for me as well. Mings has benefitted from having some really solid players around him whereas Lascelles hasn’t had as much of that luxury.
Konsa is Villa’s best cb by miles.
He is left footed which does give him a half rare asset

I wonder if he may go with Lascelles, Fernandez and Schar to counter the Burnley route one approach.

What the fuck does Fernandez have to do to get in that team like?
From my seat in the lounge I agree with you but we have to trust EH knows what he is doing.

People turning their noses up at Zinchencko?
Yep. Not that he wouldn't improve our team but I don't think he's nailed down his best position and I think he would be exposed as a poor full back in any team other than Citeh.
I was always happy to have Stones.

So heard from someone at Man City today that we’ve enquired about zinchenko and been told a firm no.
Thank heavens

I'm not sure 3 CB is the way to go against Arsenal. Their two wide players, Saka &SR, would tie back our wing backs to defence. That leaves 3 CB to handle Auba and gifts the midfield to Arsenal.
Would rather jetison Clark and play Hayden.
A back four means Manqullo and possibly Lewis should be start. Keeper change is a given. Sadly not Shay!
Take your pick Willock or Almiron.

Quite a weird thought when you put it like that.
Also, on that note, we're now on the longest streak in NUFC history of not reaching a Cup Final. From videos and photos I've seen the '74 cup final was a huge deal and that was 19 years of waiting, again the '98 cup final looked amazing (atmosphere wise) and that was then our longest streak. God knows what it'll be like when we finally reach a cup final again.
Previous streaks:
1999-2022+ (23 years and counting)
1976-1998 (22 years)
1932-1951 (19 years)
1955-1974 (19 years)
1892-1905 (13 years)
1911-1924 (13 years)
1924-1932 (8 years)
1952-1955 (3 years)
1974-1976 (2 years)
1908-1910 (2 years)
Just being pedantic but don't think you should count the war years when there was no FA Cup

Of more concern is understanding where Howe's covid came from and hoping he hasn't passed it on

If there is any doubt we should get public health to close the training ground. Worked for Man Yoo.
