Never heard of him but very pleased to see we are seemingly adressing our weakest position.
Does he play DoF?

I’m guessing our hand only gets weaker the closer it gets to the window end too. We’ll end up like that Sunderland chairman by bidding £100m for Tarkowski in the last half an hour.
Maybe. Or the lack of clubs buying and the need for some to balance the books might strengthen our hand.

I would be surprised if it was her who leaked the Emery stuff since it was Ornstein who broke the story.
I believe the story broke through Ornstein but then Staveley confirmed it in an enthusiastic manner.

Would take Shelvey's role I would imagine?
Just watching the clips he looks more 'all action' than just sitting in front of the defence. I don't know his game that well.

Would he and JL7 play either side of Shelvey in a 451?

They’re still in the Champions League and 2 points off European football in the league. Being dismissive without any acknowledgement of reality is basic.
They won't win their league, qualify for CL or win the CL. I'm not sure they are keeping Botman just to get a Europa spot. More likely they believe they can get us to pay more now or conduct an auction in the summer.
Didn't mean to be rude, just succinct.

I can see this being the case for PL teams but not abroad - I think in the case of Botman and Carlos their respective teams are in the hunt for trophies and don’t want to lose key players absent crazy money.
Lille are not in the hunt for anything

you can't expect to receive £30m for jug-eared james when he only has 6 months on his contract
I don't think they expected to receive £25m for Wood but....It would have been cheaper to buy Burnley and strip it

Tarkowski is for free in Summer. Probably Burnley prefers to get 8-10 millions (And I think this is much) for him right now than nothing in 5 months
Allegedly they want £30m.

Although it might be a problem if one of those clubs complains about tapping-up.
Nothing stopping you speak to agents. No point in agreeing a transfer fee if the player doesn't want to come. Easier to agree a fee if the player indicates he wants to go.

So you have signed Martial and will be paying him 200k a week for the rest of the season, and now you will need to at least double Carlos's wages. Can Spanish clubs afford to run their business like this? Isn't that why many clubs in La Liga are in trouble?
No coincidence imo that we walk just as they commit to spending on Martial. Do they have money post Covid? Over to the player/agent to push this through with Seville before we buy elsewhere.

Apparently he was solid v Arsenal this weekend.
Albeit that doesn't say muchI'd prefer Salisu if we want EPL experience

Can’t pretend to be disappointed about Bakker, never heard of him till the other day and was unsure as to why Leverkusen where willing to let him go relatively cheaply after only signing him in the summer.
Was probably just a back up to Gosens....

I think you need to go back and read your replies from the beginning?
Are people pissed, or stoned, when they reply? Happens a lot on here.
If you can't get pissed and stoned when nufc win away with a clean sheet then there is no point. Less frequent than Haley's Comet nowadays.

Wonder how the players will manage ten days sober

The fucker couldn’t score in a brothel with a fist full of £50s and a bag full of Coke
Brentford (h)!!
For all his faults he is good in the air.

So are we running a book at how long it takes Captain catastrophe to give away a goal today
He might score today! Leeds are poor in the air and with Wood joining and JL7 in midfield we are a Trippier set piece fret.

May as well get shot of Howe too; we can all pick a better team. PIF can stay as they bring something I haven't got.

Loan deal or permanent deal for five months. Semantics. How much do you want to get rid manyoo?

Agree terms with the player and let the player and his agent put pressure on his club. The available pool of players and time are shrinking. We knew this window was going to be very difficult. It may come down to late window loans.
It may come down to the Phil Jone's and Ramsey's of the world too. We can't have any expectations, really.
Totally agree. Tell the players agent we are moving onto other targets if this isn't done by Friday (3pm?). Let the agent tell the player how many goals to give away in tonight's game. Wait for Seville to agree to £30m. Downgrade the offer to £20m. Buy the German / French and Dutch boys.

This was the first game I took my two boys to. The youngest wasn't even 3 and struggled to stay awake.
