Whatever credit he deserved for a really good first half and team selection was erased by that pathetic performance after the break. If you defend that deep for 45 minutes you will either lose or get lucky. The latter happened today. I expect a lot better in terms of making adjustments and keeping the team competitive for a full 90. There have been plenty of instances where Pardew has undeservedly gotten 100% of the blame when the players show no effort or ability in a loss. This is an instance where the result flattered him. Just cowardly in the second half.
