Pre-produced video required to explain the draw, 'how can we try and explain this so we're not seen as absolutely trying to get all the super league teams to not play each other until the end'

Is it the same beep beep in the tune as the BBC News one just toned down the attack on it a bit?

Yep if we sell him and get another Elanga in it's bad business no matter how you spin it.

I get that sentiment, just trying to think purely pragmatically in terms of the business that football is now. Unless we're Real or Barca, our best players are always going to go at some point but I think it's up to us how we exit them and when. Gordon for me is a particularly high-risk one I think, because of his attributes and he's streaky.

Personally I think it would be the ideal time to sell him in the summer - bit like I said when we sold Isak that we sold him at the peak of his powers, I think the same could be said of Gordon if he was to go this summer. He's been fortunate with pace-affecting injuries so far, but as the years go by it's going to get more and more likely a hammy is going to go in a sprint at some point and then after his pace has gone, there's not much left in the locker other than his pressing. The question is how would we replace him - would be time for Wilson to show what he can do.

/tinhat - I saw that and decided not to ring it - I think that's a personal choice because someone people leave it open to air it out rather than let moisture/damp sit there
-
Personally a fan of long shots as long as they're on target - you get a good chance at either a corner or rebound attempt, let alone a goal sometimes

Sorry, I just couldn't help it

I'm not holding my breath.. not seen much so far to suggest we're Man City 2.0 in terms of investment and trying to push the rules. That said we have done well with some of the commercial side to maximise that revenue - SELA, Adidas, Noon etc., so I'd expect rather than hope that we'd have at least industry-standard levels of commercial agreements ready to go when space opens up from a legislative perspective. Regardless, I'm just happy we're not in Ashley's portfolio any more, we were incredibly hard to buy whilst he was the owner. With the Saudis at least we know they'll sell if it makes sense financially.
