  1. Thought Pope was letting that O'Neill shot in for a minute, heart in my mouth. The lad has given me no confidence whatsoever in basic goalkeeping anymore
  2. Fair assessment of our performance so far tho tbf
  3. There's absolutely no way to predict if we're going to turn up or not tbh, it's almost entirely based on how the opponents are set up and nothing to do with us and maximising our strengths as we seemingly don't have a clue what they are. I'd have a better chance of predicting the next number on a roulette wheel than where we're going to be cohesive in any given match.
  4. We've just got to have Wolte up top either with someone else or by himself - effective or not. You can be anonymous up top but not in the middle of the pitch. Gordon on the left, Barnes on the right. I'd even put Wissa/Neave up top with Wolte and 4-4-2 it.
  5. Far post with Thiaw, Joelinton, Burn attacking it, it's really not rocket science
  6. Elanga standing there pointing to an open space next to the linesman whilst he hugs inside. THAT'S WHERE YOU'RE MEANT TO FUCKING BE YOU STUPID IDIOT
  7. Not jus Wolte, we have no players who can naturally attack a ball that's not a defender other than maybe Joelinton, and if we're crossing the balls from the left he isn't going to get to any of them
  8. Great ball in by Hall, not a black and white shirt within 15 yards
  9. Elanga running into absolutely no-where what an idiot
  10. On the basis that Ramsdale is no better a shot stopper than Nick Pope nowadays, why the fuck doesn't he play more as he offers 10x much when he's not letting them in
  11. Co-comms seems to think that a deflected shot on target is an own goal I swear I could do a better job than some of these people, stealing as living
  12. Ramsey deflected goal from outside the area lifts it over lil baby T-Rex
  13. We need Tripps to stay back to let Thiaw move up the pitch, not the other way around imo
  14. On the chance it's a genuine inquiry, I've got it as : out of possession 4-3-3 Tripps Thiaw Burn Hall Ramsey Tonali Wolte Elanga Gordon Joelinton in possesion 4-1-2-3 Tripps Thiaw Burn Hall -------Tonali ---Ramsey-Wolte------ ------Gordon--Joelinton -------Elanga ---------------Elanga -- Elanga With Elanga generally running into whoever the closest Newcastle forward is
  15. We don't have the tools to unlock them in our front 3 imo
  16. If Everton sit low against us I have not the feintest clue how Joelinton/Gordon/Elanga breaks that down
  17. Amazing goal from an Everton perspective, that header was fucking mint
  18. Aye, always say I prefer it when we go down early rather than late on. Gives us a chance to react - forces Eddie to rethink sometimes
