Come on now, I didn't say he was shite. I don't dispute his sweeping and shot stopping. But I don't agree we'll be fine if we don't get another keeper in, he's not good enough at the level we're aiming for next season in the CL. -

Sorry it's more of a frustration at the club I'm just venting. I'll get back in my box. -

The frustration at pointing out what has seemed obvious for over a year. There are many up until this very game who've said that Pope's fine and Trafford would have been a waste of money. -

But I thought replacing Pope wasn't a priority as he helped win our first cup in 70 years and got us to the Champions League twice, I mean, shouldn't we play him every single game until he retires because we owe it to him and we shouldn't dare to expect better? At least, that's what I hear a lot on here and elsewhere. I mean, I've only seen every game in person or on stream for the past 9 years but what do I now. -

This lineup has more players without First Touch and ball control in their top 5 attributes than not, it's pretty alarming -

Put Murphy up front, emphatic -
Wouldn't say it's out of the realms of possibility. He might want to come back to play in the PL, he might want to prove himself at Newcastle after all those loans out, he might not fancy it in Saudi after a season there, he might want to push for the England squad and playing in the PL would help that. I don't think you can rule anything out without exploring the basics first.

I'd prefer Toney & Sesko rather than Wissa & Sesko, but getting Wissa/Toney + Sesko for £100m I think is good business if Isak is going.
-
Bring Toney back, redemption arc. Or buddy him up with Sandro for the lols
-
I think don't use one of the worlds best strikers over the past 20 years as a yardstick I remember when we played Marseille, he looked a level above everyone of the pitch.
-
And when he sprints it's... balderdash?
-
Aye was a genuine question, I know next to nothing about the player other than he's scored a chunk last season.
-
Is that taking into account the African peak equation that Zero mentioned though?
-
That's actually a great shout.
-
Yeah Toney was very much the the main man for the first 2 seasons he was here.
-
Sesko + Wissa and change for Isak and Wilson. Hmm.

We have no senior strikers. He's coming.
