Who would? Overpay for a older player on a downward trajectory. Sounds like Man United to me.

The Tifo podcast is worth a listen for some Joelinton love (and Steve Bruce hate). Alex makes some pretty cogent remarks. Wish that more pundits would state the obvious.

Thought he was terrible. He was. He's been a decent option for us for some time now.

Hero.

Some really poor Villa performances out there. Maybe they are better players, but it didn't show.

You're both being sarcastic, right?

I was hoping that was capoeira. I have no idea what capoeira looks like, but that was quite effective.

Yeah, that's it about 3 and a half minutes in.

Wow. A few too many of them have bought their own hype. A mediocre squad that had a good transfer window. Does anyone bother to look at a form table? It's as if they think Bruce is still in charge here.

Especially if you haven't won away at Newcastle since 2005

I hadn't noticed the switch. But I did notice the sudden change. It's like Villa just ran out of ideas. The same thing happened inthe Everton game. They went stupid all of a sudden.

No, me neither. [re GWN's response to Phx's ratings] I thought Joelinton was immense. A quick perusal.. Villa fans hate him. Everybody we play; their fans hate him. He's doing a job.

No. A a week or two after Bruce as canned.
-
That interview when he's asked about not playing much under Bruce. His expression

An injury scare every game it seems. Lays on the pitch like he's dead, then pops up like Lazarus.
-
What happened to Lascelles? Why was he out?
-
Our system is ridiculously bad.... Anyway, good win today

Thought Joelinton, Shelvey, Schaar, Fraser, and Burns were immense. (mistakenly posted in wrong thread)

That offside decision took the wind out of Villa, recharged us, turned around what seemed inevitable. Villa are gutless.
-
Can we havea Gerrard head?
-
Free flowing, goal scoring Leeds and Villa. Two clean sheets.

Well, they're not Man City are they
