Tbh everything about it is stupid and most fans are so stupid its crazy. Without even going into people on here thinking Pardew is a bad manager. The people who buy into that I must support the club and I am not supporting Ahsley is so stupid. Anyone who complains about ashley lack of spending etc and still gives money to sports direct, buys food/drink (In fact anyone who buys food at a game is stupid the prices in the UK) or tickets is again stupid. We can make a big diffrence but instead they protest and moan but still keep the money coming in. Ashley and most the people who make money from football know they most fans are stupid and thats why it gets more expensive for the fans and the players and others get richer. Imagine if fans stood up and said for one week we are not going to any football games unless we lower the price or we refused to buy season tickets or any tickets they would soon start spending or sell up. I admit I buy the odd childs ticket and get stuff from sports direct...but I don't moan about Ashley anymore becasue untill everyone stops buying stuff he will never sell and I just accept his s*** now.

He has vastly improved our Away form. No stats to back it up but I am sure

I find it stupid that peole complain baout their club or but still support the team blindly. Dont buy a season ticket next year so 0 have been sold dont go to the games dont buy any s*** nufc shirts and see how fast things change. Hate the racist Ultras but at least they know how to protest

Agreed. But I quite like staying in cup competitions if only to keep the season alive past the Christmas fixtures. Keeping the fixture list clear so we can battle for 8th just doesn't do it for me. After the event, if you don't win - I agree, it's not much to brag about, but while you're still in it/have a chance, even if it's remote - it's exciting. We haven't had that since the second leg vs Benfica 9 months ago. Won't for a while, very envious. Don't get me wrong I'd love to be in their position and I would look forward to it, but like you say there is nothing to brag about yet. Were were in there position nearly getting relagated and eveyone cried about it.

Nice one... How much?... Mates rates etc. Half bat. We usually spend a fortune on drink though and if there are any auctions we can gan mental. I bought a clearly dodgy signed Pele shirt for 350 at one of these a few years back and my brother in law who hates footy bought a pair of signed Beardsley boots he allegedly wore at Italia 90 for silly money. Most are just generic signed s*** passed off as worn or one off etc. it's usually for good causes though so... How do you want paid?... As in us you mean the forum? Count me in and pm me how want paid also Going to see if he will sign this http://www.retrotees.co.uk/collections/mens/products/mens-green-cross-code-kevin-keegant-shirt http://i.minus.com/iY7FawQSiiCfW.jpg

Know what this happens every year. Just have to deal with it and move on.

It'll be someone else next. I am absolutely 100% convinced AP is on a bonus for % profit on transfers. I really would love to know where this daft notion came from apart from ridiculous paranoia Any reason to grief King Pardew

It'll be someone else next. I am absolutely 100% convinced AP is on a bonus for % profit on transfers. You cant blame him for him going and not accept he did well to get him in the first place. f***ing hell why would Cabs turn down PSG and chance go home and maybe win the champs league.

Everyone was expecting it tho

Kevin said today Alan Pardew: “But Alan’s a good lad. I know him well, he is very dedicated and he works very hard. The sad thing is that Alan is going in and is getting off on the wrong foot through no fault of his own.” “The supporters won’t be resistant to Alan because of the circumstances of his appointment, though. Any criticism will be leveled at Llambias and Mike Ashley, because it is their decision.” “The fans would be wrong to pick on Alan. Obviously if results don’t go well then they may start to voice discontent, but Alan is just the meat in the middle of the sandwich here.” Rob Lee: Alan Pardew isn't my choice but he's doing a good job Is Alan Pardew a good football manager? This is a question I have been asked once or twice over the years. It’s a difficult one for me to answer. After some consideration I would say that, yes, on the whole he is a good manager. His overall results make a strong case for this assertion. Pardew is a good organiser of a team. We rarely get battered, although it has happened, and everyone seems to know their jobs. His first full season was an unqualified success. The fans and media loved him. He was voted manager of the year by his peers. Last time out was more difficult, although much of that was down to the lack of transfer business. And this season has been more than OK. It’s always a bumpy road that Newcastle United wander down. It’s never smooth. He has handled most of it really well and yet there are many supporters who just can’t take to him. Some back him, but I would guess the majority will never like the guy no matter what he does, and the rest can’t make up their mind. That’s down to the actual club and where we stand right now. Because the fans don’t like the owner and quite a lot of what has happened in and around Newcastle United in recent months, this ill feeling is defected onto Pardew and it’s hardly his fault. I do feel sorry for him to a degree. Pardew has to keep the fans happy, as well as Mike Ashley. Now considering those two parties seem to be constantly bickering, how does one man keep the two factions onside at the same time? That’s nigh on an impossible job for a human being. Pardew also has a third task, to win football games. His hands are pretty full. Managing Newcastle United is a wonderful honour, but is also bloody difficult. So I take my hat off to anyone – well nearly anyone – who takes on that job. I have a feeling that we are going to have a good season and if that were to happen, much of the success comes down on the manager. I know we say every season that it’s a strange league, but this year really is. We have a chance of doing really well and nobody will be more pleased than me. But no matter what, Pardew will never win over them all.

Still amazing how Pardew got him over the line. Look at the quality he has bought for little money...Wenger mk2
