Seems like people have been waiting for Emre to deliver since the day he arrived. Anyone got stats on his Games Played, Goals and Assists since his arrival? He seems to be injured pretty often (another hamstring strain now isnt it?) and most of his goals and assists come from free kicks, I used to really like him, but dont see what he produces consistently week in week out, in open play.

I think its common knowledge we need nothing short of a mass clear out AGAIN this summer. Thought we did that last year, but as you say, SA brought in a load of shite. The same kinds of player KK seems to have decided not to bring in this window - ones that add numbers but not quality - Smith, Geremi, Roz, then theres Butt, Carr, Ameobi still hanging around.

Two questions: 1 - Who is at "the bottom" then? 2 - Who are "the big boys" then? Why do some people not know that the 'current' three most successful clubs (or "four", or "two" or whatever) have not always been that and will not always be that . . . It is all just temporary. Also, why do some people think mid-table is at the bottom, when talking about us? Both things appear to be borne out of having some kind of 'Inferiority Complex'. Nope. Those decisions always go against a club like Newcastle, especially when you are at the bottom. The main reason they wont bring in TV replays any time soon - it will hurt the big boys too much.

Butt shouldnt play for us again, he should be ashamed of a performance like that. Actually thought we were decent after we went ahead, and should have put one of those chances away, but as usual, we didnt. TERRIBLE refereeing, Boro were worthy of their point, but you still cant excuse a good Owen goal being disallowed, and then a offside Boro goal being allowed.
