Love how the optimism on this board has gone through the roof in a week, totally hiding the fact we havent won a single match away from home this season, and now we are gonna piss all ower Villa (who we drew with at SJP) Hope the players have had the same buzz.

I read Bobbys autobiography a few years back, and im pretty sure at the start he talks about going down the pit and looking forward to going to SJP on a sat to watch the match, how he was born Black n White cos his fatha was nufc-mad.

HELP! Just opened a Bwin account (as i stated above) with €20, and they gave me €20.... However, seems i can only bet on stuff with odds of 1.7/1 or longer, and a minimum bet of €5.... Also seems to state i cant make any withdrawals until ive made €200's worth of bets. Im not massively into betting - putting the odd accumulator on, next goalscorer and other sports bets so this is gonna work for me. Whats the best thing i can do? Cancel the 'free credit'? (will this allow me to make normal bets?) or put a bet on (min odds 1.7) and then withdraw what ive got left if it lets me? Cheers

Can't see any way out of this now unfortunately. Reading are a awful team (watched them get rolled over by the mackems a few weeks back) and we not only couldnt beat them, but lost to the useless fuckers without scoring in open play. I think reality will well and truely set in now with the players now too, and can't see things getting any better. We can't expect to get any points away from home based on our record this season, and at home we might win 2 games if we are lucky. Villa, Southampton, Fulham and QPR games are huge - but so was Reading and we lost that.

saw Bwin offering 5/1 on our relegation, opened an account with £20 and now the bets have been removed! FML

That as good as confirms it for me, losing at home to the worst team in the PL who havent won away in the top flight for 4 years. Cant see us geting any more than 10 more points now.
