  1. Spurs absolutely all over the place. Could get embarassing if they don't pull their finger out.
  2. FFS Spurs you're supposed to be knackering them for Weds. Useless yiddos.
  3. No worse than what Dawson did against Ranger btw. No pen/red given there.
  4. FFS Atletico. Maybe the president will go back on his word and get rid of Dr. House before the end of the season after all.
  5. Bet Sandro's pleased he moved to Spurs. Never plays and hauled off already.
  6. Spurs re-finding old away form against middling teams.
  7. Got a full strength team out more or less too. Couple of key player knocks would do me, nothing too serious. At worst they're going to be heavy legged in the last quarter but as you say I'd not be crying into my beer to see Hangeland, Dempsey and one or two others pick up slight knocks.
  8. good pen, awful foul, so unnecessary.
  9. Can't agree there. It will be a great transfer window if we kept hold of Carroll, Barton, Tiote, Enrique etc. and manage to bring in HBA & Ireland. Prices are so inflated and players are so reluctant to move in January that you'll struggle to make wholesale changes. Populist bollocks. There has been loads of decent signings this Jan. Really? Maybe not in the Premiership but if you cast your net a bit wider yes. Rakitic, the 2 defenders from espanyol, Andrea Barzagli, Pazzini, Buenonotte, & Gary Medel have all moved for below what is probably their true value off the top of my head. We play in the Premier League, so your point is moot. Only Bent has moved for big money so far and that's fairly unprecedented for this time of year. But we are allowed to buy players from outside of it. Hell, even HBA was a potentially a steal at what we paid. You need to be creative in the January window. Just because clubs should be creative doesn't mean they actually are though. The reality of the situation is that Premier League clubs don't experience major movement in January. With only one month to do a deal it's a sellers market - you either pay what is demanded or you go elsewhere. The only clubs who do spend big in January are the teams who need to (Villa buying Bent, for example) or the teams who have more money than sense. My point is that bringing in two, possibly three players with no outgoings would be a very good January for us. Bontempi said we've done poorly and I disagreed in the strongest possible terms. There are a number of positions I would like to see us improve but anyone who expected us to go into January and buy a right back, a left back, a centre back, a right winger, a play maker and a couple of strikers is clearly touched. I totally agree with the second point. Not losing anyone key was key although I'd not have let Routledge go. The only way we'd have bought would've been a Larsson esque buy (taking advantage of a contract situation) & like that type of transfer I was just saying there are bargains to be had but not necessarily on a wholesale manner. Hopefully we'll see at least 3 or 4 of the positions mentioned come in the summer.
  10. Got a full strength team out more or less too.
  11. Fulham: Stockdale, Pantsil, Hughes, Hangeland, Salcido, Duff, Sidwell, Murphy, Dempsey, Andrew Johnson, Dembele. Subs: Etheridge, Kelly, Baird, Gera, Kamara, Dikgacoi, Davies. Tottenham: Gomes, Hutton, Bassong, Dawson, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Sandro, Modric, Pienaar, Van der Vaart, Defoe. Subs: Cudicini, Jenas, Pavlyuchenko, Gallas, Crouch, Kranjcar, Corluka.
  12. Ramblings of a mad man more like. Just an inane dribbling of stereotyped nonsense. Obviously but still made me chuckle none the less.

  14. Easyish draw for all the Champs League teams. City v Villa and WHU v Burnley are probably the hardest to call and even they aren't.
  15. ?? Pav to Sunderland has been a possibility for most of the window. Looks more likely now if Spurs sign a striker. I expect no new striker and Pav to stay. Just the excessive ............... is a Rob trait. On the topic of Pavlyuchenko I'm suprised none of the Russian teams have come calling?
  16. Standard of people drawing the balls these days in appalling.
  17. will only pay £150k, Saints want closer to £1m. Fair enough. I guess if Chamberlain leaves Puncheon might still be needed for Saints.

  20. Good result for Notts County that if they're still in financial strife. Should make a few bob from a half full Eastlands.
  21. When its the second Derby della Madonnina ()? Going to be another massive match if Inter keep winning.
