  1. Disappointed we never went with these. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs088.ash2/37744_440838432441_504977441_5820508_6142412_n.jpg
  2. Agreed, and him and Jonas are at their best when they're both playing, so the opposition can't load one side in defence. It's a real missed opportunity that we didn't add a central threat (Ben Arfa) to our two wide players (Jonas and Routledge), but sacrificed one of them instead. Definitely. It comes as no suprise that we have played our best football recently with two out and out widemen on the field. I definitely want to see the 2 wingers and Ben Arfa in behind Carroll for the next home game.
  3. They will find a buyer no problem. Yeah huge debt, decrepid old ground and a global economy slump biggs is right. again the naivety of liverpool fans thinking they are a much bigger club than what they are. i see nee fucker came in for leeds despite their glorious past. hold on, they've won the european cup 5 times and the English top flight more times than anyone else (joint with manyoo iirc) - what the fuck else do they have to do to be considered "big" in your world like? what are Barcelona to you, middle of the road club or something? Having a successful past doesn't make you a big club now. Because we could claim to be a biggish club on the fact we have 11 major honours in our history. It does when you've a past as succesful as Liverpool's and have the number of fans Liverpool have.
  4. The lad is better on the counter attack rather than breaking defences down hence why he has looked not so impressive in the last two home games.
  5. That is what worries me, we should be on at least 4 more points than the 7 we are on now. What happens when we have a run of 5-6 games when we don't create many chances etc. Blackpool and West Brom are exploiting the chances they've been given, we in our last 2 home games are not. If Blackpool have been exploiting their chances as opposed to us not why are we above them in the league table? People need to be realistic, yes we've had a couple of unexpected wins and good performances againsts Villa and Everton and as a result people are getting ahead of themselves. We are a newly promoted team, yesterday we got beat by an established midtable Premier League club, this will happen as a newly promoted team.
  6. Not a bad line-up at all... Right side is offering little or nothing there like. Barton will float inside as its his natural position which is turn will leave R.Taylor exposed which we can't do due to his inferior defending techniques and lack of pace.
  7. Jonas is a left winger, just because you are right footed doesn't automatically make you a right sided player.
  8. Kamara, Di Matteo and Ginola were all saying Villa instead of Silva on Goals on Sunday.
  9. That would be some excellent time-wasting like. Particularly at the Britannia due to the run-up you can get. Dry the ball for 30 seconds (demanding a towel - wouldn't want to get your shirt too wet, you're not an animal), take a massive run-up and just throw it a metre in front of you to a teammate. I'm sure it was the 1-1 with us a couple of seasons ago where the ball was actually only in play half an hour or something daft.
  10. We haven't done it the last two games either. Surely one thing they should've learned from the Chelsea match is that if we keep recycling the ball and probing waiting for a chance to arise we will get success instead of panicking and humping it long aimlessly.
  11. Is it your job to get the team names wrong and make really safe predictions?
  12. Hopefully we can sneak a draw but I'd be suprised. Think they may just simply overpower us in the middle.
  13. I recommend you don't watch Blackburn at any point this season.
  14. He tried to. It all stemmed from him losing his man in the first place though and having to react to be being out of position thus meaning he ended up diving towards his own goal. Should never have happened.
  15. I'm literally dumbfounded as to why he is getting called for todays performance. Absolutely insane.
  16. He'd lost his man and then panicked, definitely at fault for me.
  17. He's playing far too far forward at home. He is at his best running from a deep lying midfield role not this 1 of the striker. Its plain as day, hence his performance at Everton opposed to the last 2 home games where he has been less influential.
  18. We were playing Stoke, though. The PL champions of playing ten men behind the ball. Houghton was tactically outwitted today http://www.todayfm.com/Images/ray_houghton.jpg
  19. Stoke were pretty well organised tbh. Two solid banks of 4 and the only time we got in behind was when Jose smashed it across the face. Crossing from deep rarely works.
  20. He looked truly gutted at the end like. Think he knows this as well.
  21. Losing games like this and Blackpool got us relegated. We will be lucky to survive. I agree, no point in those 2 wins earlier if we are going to lose to our rivals and give them 3 valuable points. Aye we might as well just get beat every game you moron.
  22. What a load of s***. Have a look at every set-piece he's done today. Come back when you can speak English. Again far too many people thinking Barton is a saint of a footballer on here. Nobody says he is but struggling to see what he did drastically wrong today aside from a couple of bad set plays.
