Should move this thread to being a sticky of the reserves/youths i reckon.

He left the ground in a hurry to deal with a family issue. Don't think any news has been released about it though. Sick mother according to the papers
-
Can add Yobo & possibly Baines & Pienaar to that list n all.
-
Always thought he was a decent player Fat Helder. Scored passed the mackems n all.

I think Mrs Gattuso has said he will finish his career in Glasgow. Mrs Gattuso is Glaswegian if i remember rightly. Gennaro also owns a restaurant there i think

;D He's a prick Redknapp. I still can't believe everyone has forgotton about how he got Southampton relegated then had the balls to go BACK to Portsmouth. He's made a career on being a caracterture of himself as being the cockney wide-boy 'Arry rather than being a particularly good manager. The media will love him no matter what he does. hear hear, a cunt of the highest order. Was delighted when he wasn't offered NUFC job.

Unlike Harry Redknapp to be commenting on issues not related to him

Big players at big clubs don't like losing, we should be the exactly the same.

I remember when I moved to just off the Saltwell Road in my 4th year at uni, I had no idea there was such a large Jewish community around there, it was gobsmacking - not in an unpleasant way, just surprising - to see the orthodox jews everywhere. EDIT memory plays tricks, it wasn't off Saltwell Road, but it was in Bensham. Yeah - Coatsworth Road area. Used to work nearby, and it was weird close to Christmas, their Hannukah - the area was lit with candles in the houses and looked like a Dickensian London with the smoke from cars in the cold air looking quite misty in the cold. There used to be the biggest Jewish College in the country there. Mind still be - I dunno. There used to be a Jewish baker we would go to - those knotty poppy seed buns - bloody lovely. Aye there is a big school there or something. Think a lot of them come from abroad or whatnot as they often aren't speaking English when they talk to each other. Hebrew perhaps? Perhaps but if they were English they'd likely speak English. Possibly not though. Perhaps though

Not the best looking bunch if i'm been honest.

Ronaldihno v Chelsea Zidane v Leverkusen

Even SUPERTOON beat you to that one. The Croatian media are now saying Liverpool have made a firm bid for Modric so I think he can be crossed off the shopping list. Xabi Alonso becoming available? Going back to Spain its been rumoured. At least it'll mean no more 60yard goals past us.
-
Michael Laudrup be next Madrid manager i suspect.
-
Should've gone with their idea to rotate Fratton Park and use the brownfield land that is already there meaning they could keep some of the original stadium (main stand and the non-shit one behind the goal).
-
Been meant to be moving to a new stadium since they got promoted but still haven't done anything about it.

Sssssh... Don't say that on here mate, you'll get lynched for having the audacity to recognise that Gary Neville is actually a very good player... I think most with an ounce of sense will realise he's been one of the most consistent and best full-backs in the world over the past decade. Best right back in the Premiership to date by a country mile.

Hows that Dos Santos doing at Barca these days? Isn't he supposed to be good n all?
-
You watching the same fella as me? Hell of a player though. On footballing ability love watching Ronaldo and Messi but favourite non Toon player would be Reno Gattuso.
-
Three crucial decisions if you count Lucas against Fabregas in the league on the weekend.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/africa/7338325.stm £2.4m or something n all. Would take him in a heartbeat. Has looked good everytime i've watched him for Everton and I'm sure 1878 has given a good report or two before n all. Quick, creative, two decent feet, can play all along the midfield - get him in. 1878 would be livid! Apprently he's been better than Arteta this season. £2.4 million?! What the hell is going on at Everton? That is just ridiculous. They've had him on loan and he has performed well for them and become a first team fixture, and he is still pretty young. And they are refusing to pony up £2.4 million? That is quite unfortunate for them. Terrible effort.
