  1. The fact they look to be set at different times could explain it.
  2. I don't think its about backup. Its about having two 11s that can do the same job to the same standards. With the 5 subs allowed now the use of the squad has completely changed. We are massively lacking in squad depth, while at least 9 of our first 11 are good enough to be starting next season
  3. I think if we continue to use 3 8s who effectively have to do everything in midfield he wouldn't be a bad option. If buying bim means we can afford someone like Szobozlai then i wouldnt mind it. Everyone has noticed who much worse we looked as a team when Longstaff was out and McTominay could be utilised in almost exactly the same role. Im firmly of the belief that we should be buying players that suit the way our team plays. Obviously this is all price dependent.
  4. Jesus, really? They have an entire team of attacking midfielders already
  5. It would surely make it easier for Levy to sell to a giant like Real. Probably more palatable for the Spurs fans to see him sold oversea too.
  6. Not a great look for the Reubens... https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2023/jun/03/the-billionaires-have-won-english-pubs-forced-to-close-after-owners-demand-full-rent-for-lockdown?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other
  7. Might have been an idea to spend some money on a striker rather than spunking 80m on another shitty, non productive winger.
  8. My guess is three top class players of about 50-60m, but with quite a few younger development players, so we can start off the Brighton plus model
  9. You'd think hinchcliffe was a 30 goal a season striker the way he goes on
  10. The main reason liverpool have the ball in play more than us is not because of our dark arts, its because Liverpool play for 100 minutes every other week
  11. Do we want Man U to concede, or just for the bin dippers to be out of it?
  12. Nah, Les is miles ahead of him
  13. As soon as the mackems got dicked by Luton i knew we were going to win this
  14. Id go with 4-2-3-1. I realise it gives us less options off the bench, but it would allow us to play Willock on the left who could interchange with Joelinton when needed. Having Isaak in the 10 also allows bruno to sit deeper as there is someone else in the team who can be creative
