You see the thing about Sven, everyone is so quick to heap praise on Scolari, yet when he came up against Sven he only beat him twice on penalties and once by an absolute fluke/stroke of genius.

Didn't realise Saviola was on loan at Sevilla last season.

You CANNOT be serious ! This is the man who caused some fans to lose their seats after a Club promise that they would retain them for 10 years after purchasing a Bond - also, he was SORRY that Gullit resigned, and wanted Captain Lager as manager. A more charmless and ruthless individual would be hard to find. Was behind a furious row with Dalglish after going behind his back to Press in order to scupper Gillespie's transfer to Boro for 3.5m. We do NOT - repeat - NOT - want Fletcher back at SJP Keegan speaks rather highly of what he done for this club.

And he's got loads of that to. Compared to say someone like Butt. John Terry was made Chelsea captain at 21 was that wrong? Wahey, Taylor and Terry. Awesome comparison. Terry at the age of 21 (which Taylor is) wasn't any better than Taylor is now to be fair. In fact i'd say Terry was more arrogant, made more mistakes (on and off the field) at that age. Didn't Terry nearly sign for Huddersfield when he was younger? I know what you-re getting at with the off the pitch thing - he was part of the Jody Morris crowd - but I don't remember him being owt special as a kid. Don't think he did owt until Raneiri and Desailly got their hands on him... Aye mate but in the end they couldn't afford the fee. Terry wasn't even a regular 3 years ago if I'm not mistaken.

Spectrum can no longer afford his proposed takeover over City.

Don't know why Suazo chose Inter instead of AC, him and Ronaldo would have been a cracking partnership.

No it's your love for Davies that makes me laugh.

I don't think he's ready and neither does Wenger, a couple of more seasons on the wing for Walcott Wenger has stated, then he'll move in the middle. Is Vela now back from out on loan?
-
Is that why they are after Chivu then?

I cant really help the fact that another poster is stalking me now can i. You could always leave I could but im never going to do that (unless Dave decides to permanantly ban me that it) So, just for the record like, : £16m for Bent is acceptable, but £18m for Bent is taking the piss? Correct? Ive already explained it. Bent valuation is £13 mill so £16 mill is not to bad a deal imo. So paying £3m over the odds is ok but £5m is out of order? Fucking hell! The bloke isn't worth £9m , let alone £16m or £18m. Jesus Christ - kingdawson's caught eastendfever. Is that a distant relation to Saturday Night Fever?

Yes you are completely correct. Dennis Bergkamp was absolute garbage.

Why would Milan let him go after yet again he's showed everyone what a class act he is over these past six months? or the fact that he is say 60% of the player he was 10 years ago and he still outscores most players on the planet despite constant piss taking from everyone all around and makes everything look so easy on the pitch. But of course the most talented player since Maradona was not good enough for us according to most on here. Ronaldo in my eyes is quite simply the biggest waste of talent of all time as when he retired from the play we saw 10 years ago he had the abilities to go down alongside Pele and Maradona but it just quite simply wasn't meant to be.

Gila is very good has been heavily criticised this season but in truth has it all and just needs a good partner to shine ie Ronaldo. He's not a flashy type of player, nor is he clinical, but his contribution is very effective and he will score goals Played his best football mind playing up front on his own at Parma.

Yeah, I'd go along with that theory. That way if the decision goes Sheff U's way they can merely swap them and West Ham around, rather than redo all the fixtures. Not really as there'll be policing issues if Sheff Wed are at home on the same day. Wasn't that what Tom, and kingdawson, said? Didn't even read the first post in the thread or what Tom quoted actually.

Ashley Young's playing well. Never forgive him though that day I had him first scorer on my Lucky 15 and he scored 2nd for Watford, as Midds will testify.

I thought our first choice right-back by the end of last season was one of our better performers.

LEGEND.
-
We were shite away at Spurs, got absolutely battered.
-
Soon as he goes to Chelsea everyone on here will start saying how they're not bothered and he's shite anyways.
-
Just because there money is self sufficient doesn't change the fact what they are doing.

That Barca one reminds me when Ronaldo ruled the world.

He's at a good age though. If he has another season like he had last season, then he will have proven he is over his injury's. Lost about a yard of pace like, luckily he can still read the game so well. You reckon? I wouldn't say so from what i've seen of him over the past year. Still looks quick on his feet to me. As you said though he's got the brain. Even when he's 34 (if he's over all of his injury problems obviously) and slow he will still be an excellent defender because of how well he can read the game Oh definitely and I know people who watch them all of the time closely will vouch for this. He's no slouch by any means still, still has a bit of it. But off the mark he's definitely slowed down, take the way Villa skinned him in the England match for example.
