Because that round thing the players kick around is yet to go in between the metal posts at the end where the Carlisle goalkeeper is placed and over the white line in between said posts. blueyes.gif -

Be pleased folks, at least you don't have to put up with that awful Cumbrian accent. -
Maldini springs to mind Shak my darling.
-
He's 30 now and the next World Cup in 2010 is in 3 years...... do the math.
-
I certainly am not. Jimmy was spot on originally.
-
Then again Fergie did let the best defender he's had under his stewardship not just leave, but also go to another English club.

England have players like Terry, Ferdinand, Gerrard, J.Cole, Rooney, Owen, so I don't think individuals are our problem. Personally I think a manager like Scolari could get us a long way in a knockout competition but we missed the boat there. But you said Denmark won it because of the way they trained their teams and not individuals. Peter Schmeichel saving Van Basten's penalty was nothing to do with the training though. Michael Laudrup's genius had nothing to do with the way he was trained. Those players you mentioned are all overhyped when you compare them to something like Michael Laudrup's genius.
-
Apart from a couple of European Championships? Just checked it seems we're both wrong, they won it once in 1988, but then so did Denmark in 1992 and Greece in 2006. My point is that teams like Denmark and Greece can win it because of the the way their train their teams, not their individuals. Denmark's team in Euro '92 despite not initially qualifying had some truly brilliant players.

Is he still at Dortmund?

I am waisting my time before my tea is ready. Fucking pedantic cunt.

You folk who are watching this should be ashamed. The Beckhams don't need encouraging, they need exterminating.
-
Owen - surplus to requirements even though fit Martins - 4th choice striker Viduka - money grabbing lazy c*** sort of like that you mean? How about Owen - Madrids best goal scorer before we got him Martins - Loved by Inter fans Viduka - Boro's best player I think Ronaldo might have something to say about that.
-
which proves my point really, doesn't it ? Keane has played all his football under Clough and Ferguson, so he will certainly be aware that personalities come 2nd to ability. Except when it comes to Stam...and Yorke...and Beckham. You're forgetting the best of them all he let go. Paul McGrath.
-
Why on Earth would he be more complimentary? he's exactly the same type of player as Owen.

I don't think they were complaining after USA '94 mind. Eh. believe it or not we were. We hae never liked Pareira or his team, in fact the 94 champions was elected as Brazils worst team ever to play in a World Cup. Brazil have the two best teams of all time the 1970 world champions and the 2002 world champions. Its a fact! '58 was better than them both. No they were not my friend. 1982 was supposed to be best team with at that time best players in the world like Falcao, Socrates and Zico. Oh god, what a team they had. Problem was they only attacked attacked and attacked. They lost to Italy because they couldnt play defensive football and cause Dino Zoff was a monster that day. 1970 was though the proof that magic does exist. 58' team was good no doubt with players like Vava, Pele (only 17 years old) and Garrincha (better then Maradona and all these other guys, even Pele i would say). 2002 was the example of a team which grew by everygame and had a brilliant attacking football as well as a modern day built defence with big and stron but also technical defenders. COACHHTT/// Honestly ive never heard that much b***s*** in my life. Africa will never overtake Brazil, remember that Africa for many years have been using false info for their players during Olympic games. theyre all 4 years older then what you think. Martins is 28 remember You forgot the great Didi.

Shak..... Hunt the little shit down and get those detonators.

I don't think they were complaining after USA '94 mind. I forgot Dunga was national coach then. Was it not Perreira in 94, the guy who made a balls of last year's World Cup? Perreira was indeed mate, my post was relferring to the fact that they won the World Cup that year playing pretty poor football but I'm sure no Brazilians were moaning due to the fact they came home with the big pize. Again, brilliant in a Gruber voice. That's the fine line though. Play great stuff and lose, you might get a second chance. Play dull stuff and lose, you're off. Argentina the new Brazil anyway then Hans, I'm sure you'll agree? All I can say is DIS IS DA AUTOBAHN.

so they have a new chairman, new manager, new team, but everything will be the same as 2 seasons ago? If you said NUFC will do exactly the same this season as last season, what do you think people would think of your 'opinion', FM boy? maybe he goes more by looking at personnel ? The fact they have Keane in charge rather than Mick already improves their chances significantly... Why though? Keane's unproven in the top flight and his record at Championship Level is on the same level as McCarthy's despite spending more money.

Apparently he bought a house worth £32m for £12m, hardly comparable with Abramovich taking billions off the Russian people for a few bottles of vodka. True. Roman did a lot good when he was Governor of Siberia, while Thaksin Shinawatra used to get letters open letters off Amensty international. http://web.amnesty.org/library/Index/ENGASA390152004?open&of=ENG-317 Not bad as well for tax benefits so I'm told.

Probably a fair reflection given the injury problems Woodgate has had mind. Even when we bought him he was injured wasn't he? If Woody could play as many games as Rio and Leeds had got shot of him at the same time (ie not when they were deeper in crisis and desperate for the cash) he would have cost much, much more. I'd say probably more of a reflect on Woodgate's mental stability in and around that time as the court case really appeared to have affected him.

Still couldn't believe that Ferdinand price when you look at what we got Woodgate for 6 months later.
