  1. Is there an xG version of this? That'd be interesting. I never take xG stats serious since they viewed the Moussa Sissoko chance at Liverpool as a 11% chance of a goal type chance
  2. Mike Dean applying different rules to the team he wants to win
  3. Apparently Mike Dean was up to his usual tricks at the Watford v Southamton match tonight. Southamton were through on goal for a goal scoring opportunity got taken down = No Red. Can’t be the same man that gave us a Red for last man surely
  4. We only hit the post against Spurs 3 times this season tbf
  5. Brighton were 2 minutes away from getting to 52 shots at their goal without conceding Some run of luck that.
  6. Jamie Redknapp “Brighton deserved AT LEAST a point” Jamie Redknapp “But Newcastle are a disgrace to the Premier League”
  7. It was referred to a defensive masterclass at halftime By the same Jamie Redknapp
  8. Wolves were similar on saturday. Wolves had 47 shots in two PL games v Brighton this season and failed to score. I wouldn’t be surprised if we will be saying the same Brighton are that lucky
  9. Deli Ali always looks like he can barely move
  10. Brighton time wasting in the 10th minute
  11. Considering the comments by Lee Charnley about the training ground I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t realise the above
  12. Average shots per a game table this season 1st Chelsea 15.6 2nd Liverpool 15.1 3nd Spurs 13.9 4th Man City 13.6 5th Leicester 13.6 6th Man Utd 13.5 7th Crystal Palace 12.8 8th Southamton 12.7 9th Everton 12.6 10th Wolves 12.6 11th Arsenal 12.1 12th Fulham 12.1 13th Newcastle 11.7 14th Bournemouth 11.5 15th West Ham 11.2 16th Watford 11.1 17th Huddersfield 10.8 18th Cardiff 10.7 19th Brighton 10 20th Burnley 9.7 Who surprises you most? Palace, Newcastle, Bournemouth, West Ham, Watford seem to be the ones most opposite to what the pundits like to make out.
  13. Agree but the trophy aspect would definitely turn him on though.
  14. Hope not our record in 4411 compared to 3421 is shocking. I think if we play the 3/5 Brighton will find it very hard to get more than 1 against us given they have failed to score in their last 6 games. Not sure we have the 2 goals in us to win it though with Almiron out I think we will see a massive drop in our attacking play
  15. You can just see it now Duffy and Dunk arms all over Rondon all game while Fernandez and Perez watch and think this cannot be the same Ref Clear cases of giving the complete opposite when it’s on us every time we’ve had him this season. Even the Red card for Yedlin I wouldn’t mind but the same Mike Dean didn’t even book David Luiz for last man against us a few years ago.
  16. This is probably the worst match to have Mike Dean he is exactly what Brighton are needing to find a way to win I think he has given 19 Penalties/Red cards in 25 games this season or something. Not the sort of stat you want going into a game that is probably going to be a low scoring game decided by 1 goal/Referee moment. Brighton love to grapple in the box though so let’s see if he decides it in our favour this time. We’ve seen Boly smash Perez in the face with an elbow in the box with him and not give it. And Rondon have his arm nearly pulled out his socket at Bournemouth yet only give them one so I’m fully expecting a soft penalty for them while Duffy and Dunk are allowed to do what they like.
  17. Burnley had 7 touches in the box Chelsea had 65 65 must surely be a Premier League record.
  18. Just read Southamton fans reckon we grew the grass long to beat them
  19. https://www.transfermarkt.com/premier-league/formtabelle/wettbewerb/GB1?saison_id=2018&min=9&max=35 Love how we’ve conceded less than Manchester United and Arsenal and the same as Chelsea in the last 27 Premier League matches. With defenders and a goalkeeper that all cost under £5million each. It shouldn’t even be possible
  20. Imagine what Digne would be like in our wing back system
