A new manager bounce is not being the best side in the league 13 games after a new manager is appointed. Most goals scored, least goals conceded, into the next round of the Champions League and setting a new Manchester United record for away wins. I can completely understand why people think it's a bad idea to give him the job. I'm still sceptical myself, however he deserves at least some credit for producing the results he has done. He has a 72% win ratio after 20+ games FFS. All that being said, I think the appointment was at the wrong time. His position should have been evaluated at the end of the season IMO, especially with the extremely difficult list of fixtures in April. There's a real chance of losing 4/5 games in April. Who's to say what the feeling will be by the end of the season. Have to think positive though.

Watched Palace tonight and thought they really struggled against the the wing back system of Spurs Crystal Palace could barely get out because Batshuayi couldn’t hold it up which meant Zaha barely had a kick. I think we will most likely see us have most the possession with Schar and Leujene having plenty of opportunities to pick out our wing backs in dangerous areas, their wingers just didn’t go back with Trippier and Rose at all. Schar and Lejuene will need to deal with Zaha and Townsend when they have the odd break though. If we continue our run of 2+ goals at home in the last 5 home games though it should be enough to beat these.

Aye spooky the same Mike Dean didn’t give David Luiz a Red for being last man against us or suggest Pickford should be sent off(Mike Dean was 4th official). YET he gave Yedlin a Red against us for it Spooky the same Mike Dean who gave a penalty against us/Fernandez in his last match for much less than what Bennett did to Lukaku in the box last night AND much less than what Boly did to the jaw of Perez in the box. Crystal Palace having to play another game tomorrow against Spurs should be a blessing for us Hope Shelvey and Schar come into the side for this. He needs a Shelvey in the team to get the best out of him and put him in good areas. There were times tonight when he made great runs and Ritchie and Hayden, Diame just couldn’t provide him the pass. Towards the end I saw him make a frustrated gesture after yet another of his great runs wasn’t even spotted

I thought defensively and team shape wise we held up well against the Premier League’s joint 2nd most formidable team at home To limit Arsenal to just 7 attempts at home must have been their lowest shot totals at home all season. And for Arsenal to have 0 attempts and 0 shots on target as far as 30 minutes into a home game is unheard of. Thought Shelvey should have came on at 1 v 0 late on though to offer us some good forward passes.

Time for MOTD to stop using it as their key stat.

Arsenal have won 9 home matches in a row and have the joint 3rd best defence at home. We will be lucky to even get a goal tonight

West Ham make everyone look good they are that open. Even Huddersfield and Cardiff could have put 4 or 5 goals past these lot in the last few weeks

Looks like Burnley might get the win they need today with Wolves resting a few of their star players.

Aye the times I’ve seen him on the right of a 3 he has been poor. Chelsea away game I thought he was horrific and against Bournemouth his positioning for the Fraser counter when they hit the post was really poor. For me Lascelles has looked best in the centre of a 3 and Lejuene has looked most comfortable on the left of the 3. For those reasons I wouldn’t want either moved and definitely not just to find a place for Dummett
