@lee_ryder 8m Pardew on Mourinho celebrations: "He's not jumping in my crowd!"

You'd think Pardew would be crazy not to go. He'd be back down south, he'd be at a club where he'd be well liked by the fans, that he has a connection to and that would have considerably less pressure than Newcastle, and to top it off he'd be getting more money for it.

  4. He is 100% using extra time tonight as an excuse this weekend. He'll probably even mention how Chelsea had an extra day on us because they played last night.

As much as I'd desperately love to see that happen, it probably won't. There's no way we'd be so lucky.

    Papiss Cissé

Harsh. He's a fraction of the player that first came here, and is very frustrating to watch for the fans, but that's not to say he isn't interested/isn't trying. It's a bit harsh to use words like "cunt" on him though.

Gouffran will offer even less through the middle IMO. I know he's flavour of the month right now, and Cisse is the pantomime villain, but I haven't seen anything to suggest Gouff is going to be an effective CF. It once again shows the state of our squad too.

    Papiss Cissé

Always straying offside and missing absolute sitters, he's a completely different player now. If we can get a striker in January and he still hasn't improved we have to get rid, because when he plays half the time he is a passenger and we just can't afford that shite right now.
  9. Kicking it out because Richards has cramp man. Fuck sake. The ball should only go out for head injuries.
  10. Cabaye clearly sent on with the instruction of hitting the ball and hoping.

Cisse is really struggling for goals and his confidence is on the floor. He starts him alongside a man who couldn't hit a barn door, against Man City ffs.
  12. Fair play to anyone willing to sit in SJP on a cold night like that to see yet another Pardew masterpiece.
  13. Cisse AND Shola? That's us down to 9 men from the kick off then.

Agree, Wullie - I've mostly given up trying to reason with some of the posters on here....almost certain that some of them are Ashley/Pardew trolls because they will do and say anything to justify keeping the status quo...even when its blatantly obvious that the manager and owner/officials are just not up to the job at a club with the support of NUFC. Despite all the possession we had, the ball was mostly played sideways or backwards and the lack of forward running has been a feature of Pardew's sides ever since he arrived and started 'coaching' the team. Build ups are painfully slow and meat and drink to defenders in opposition sides..we rely mostly on long range specials to get results. Was it the West Ham game when we had something ridiculous like 18 shots and none on target? It was painfully obvious then that our game plan relied solely on hit and hopes.
  15. Man City, Chelsea and away to Spurs, right after losing to the mackems. Fucking horrendous.
  16. Didn't they say not to respond as their decision was final?
  17. The next two games are perfect for it, because we're realistically gonna do fuck all in them anyway. I know we beat Chelsea last season, but it's different this year. We don't have the buzz from having new players and it's also Mourinho vs Pardew ffs.
  18. I was always suspicious of it, especially when it was available for a massively cut price. The fact is Newcastle are still one of the biggest attractions in the biggest league in the world, why wouldn't there be interested parties? We have a fantastic stadium, the 3rd biggest in the league and a large, passionate fanbase. If someone came here and got it right the sky is the limit, but yet we were led to believe no one wanted the club for £80 million or whatever it was.
  19. 82 points this week. I'm finally getting going on this now after a bad start. That's two weeks in a row of 80+.

Of course we gave them a win with this spineless bastard in charge. He's here for the next few years btw.
  21. Dummett did well against a far superior team last week so it's not all bad, let's just see how it goes. Look at what we have up front and in the midfield too, we should be in control for most of the match.
  22. Been crying to my glory hunting friends all night about this game. Thank fuck we get an extra hour in bed for the hangover cure.
