We are the best team These guys will be the hardest team we should play this season, but I wouldn't be surprised if we win again. I think we really need to believe we are better than every other team in this league, and wins against clubs like Cardiff will sure as hell do that.

Hes a good solid defender at International and Premier League level, I think 6 mill is a fair price. Especially when you consider how much Lescott cost and even how much Colo cost us.

Yeah basically we can't sign anyone on loan now that the window is closed. Unless like Michael said, we have no keepers or something extreme like that. Just have to rely on free transfers now.

Why is it a shit window for Newcastle? - for what its worth, I think we did well to keep certain players and the addition of Lovendranks is very good. Making money and reducing the huge debt is very important and our squad is still capable (although thin) to win this league. Huddersfield before the substitutions was a decent indication that our squad is fucked if we hit an injury crisis. That's been the case for the last five or so years. Why's it so different now? We have never been this thin for one.

:nope: that season we we're superb There is no reason why we can't do as well this season, we have got 13 out of 15 points so far, im optimistic

Remember we lost 8 games when we last went up, 9 draws as well. We could easily do better than that this season based on what we have seen so far. There will also be more spells of us winning every game this season. We are definitely going to be in the top 6 imo.

We are nailed on to lose this if the same team plays, as Cardiff will score. Really depends on getting players back and new players in.

Our fortunes are gonna change soon and the lack of players will see us really start to struggle. I can see that change in fortunes coming tonight, that squad is just awful
