Right so we deserve managers of the calibre of Joe Kinnear? Sorry mate, we arnt some shit club like Southend or Mansfield
-
This thread is a perfect example of the lack of communication that has been created between the club and its fans.
-
We arnt talking about this moment, we are talking about next season, and god knows how many more seasons after that. We are too big a club for a manager like Kinnear.
-
Just Mike Ashley want to win the fans back or lose them for good? Fucking seems like the latter to me. This is pathetic tbh, really really pathetic. Cant wait to hear his statements in Feb.
-
If we are in the Championship next season with Kinnear at the helm, then its another relegation battle.
-
This was always going to happen anyway, so im not surprised
-
Problem is that there are too many posters on here who think their opinion is gospel and are horrified that someone might not agree with them or might think the complete opposite. That is why there is many people being condescending, sarcastic and up their own arse to other posters all of the time.

FFS, well if its true then tough fucking shit to him. Do our important players really think we are going to sell them at this point of the season given our league position? He can wait to the summer. -
So when Ashley comes out and speaks at the end of the window, he can say "we tried"?
-
I still dont think this will happen btw. Im sure he is content with his wages at Milan as it stands, consider this: Ac Milan compared to Man City as a club, history, stature etc Champions League football compared to no Europe at all, UEFA cup at very best. Ac Milan's squad compared to Man City's San Siro compared to City of Manchester Stadium Milan compared to Manchester Never happening, and in regards to the last point, im aware of Man Utd, but thats Man Utd, far more prestigious than City.

Says who? You think their owners would just allow these people to run up huge debts against the club with no gurantee that it would be their own investment or at least part their investment? You're right but Valten is still correct in terms of the Arabs leave, and they're left with a huge wage bill to foot each week. Exactly, the types of wages they are throwing around will mean whoever they sell too will have to be just as rich as these arabs are. £250,000k for one player? Bet teams like Hull don't have that for their whole squad A new owner could just come in and sell players like Kaka ASAP and end up with a tidy transfer kitty to rebuild. They wouldnt have any trouble getting players like him off the wage bill.
-
"we tried to get players" Seriously though, hopefully its plans for the summer i.e. the club being sold, new manager etc.
-
When asked, he replied saying we have bid £5mill for Mbia, so i assume the loans didnt work out. Or maybe we tried to loan Mbia and they said no but we could buy him for £5mill.
-
We might not have a chance, we have just made a bid.
-
I understand why he would tell the fans, to assure us he is working on the signing, but i hope we havent shot ourselves in the foot here by announcing this.
-
Agreed, we have no chance.

Man that life jacket, he was almost twice the size Mos def! I literally finished episode 5 of season two about 10 minutes ago, just thought i'd check in here before bed. What series are you on? Seen them all mate I was recommended it by some friends who have just finished the lot. They're gutted though, they don't know what to do with themselves. I know the feeling I just took up an obsession with Bunk, gets me through the day

Then why do the likes of KK, Capello, Wenger and Ferguson always bleat on about confidence? Aye, Owen scored at the weekend. What happenned? we fucked it up. Not going to do his confidence good one iota. And its not just about confidence in ones own ability, it is about confidence in the team, and if Owen doesn't have confidence in his team mates, he is not going to have the full mentality to consistently put the ball in the back of the net. confidence doesnt eradicate quality a lack of confidence diminishes a players quality, i cant see how there can even be any argument against that. Might diminish it, but it doesnt eradicate it, the chances tonight were simple, put on a plate for him.

He was 1 on 1 with the keeper at one point, how does he not score given the quality he possesses? A ball is sailing to him, falling to his head perfectly, all he has to do is get it on target, again given his quality how does he not score? It has nothing to do with his confidence in his team mates. Like I already said, those were easy chances and confidence doesnt eradicate quality, he should have scored tonight, he had 2 good chances to do it and took neither. The team fucking up at the weekend is irrelevant to Owen's confidence as a goal scorer, he scored and that does well for his confidence in terms of scoring goals if anything.
-
Sorry James but confidence doesnt eradicate quality and Owen had 2 chances tonight that lets face it, should have been goals. Also in terms of scoring goals, im not taking Owen's confidence as an excuse for him missing chances tonight on the back of him scoring at the weekend.

how much of your money are you risking ? I dont see what your point is, am I the owner of NUFC? We need a new central midfielder worth at least £8million, never mind our whole budget being £8million. So it's not possible to buy a good midfielder for less than £8 million? In todays market? I wouldnt bank on them being much better than what we already have considering this budget will be split amongst at least 2 signings.
