  1. We have never won at Chelsea in the Prem, we havent scored there in 6 years. 2-1 to Newcastle

    If not Sam, who then?

Give him time lads, 6 month is nothing for f**ks sake, we gave Roeder and Souness 3 times that and Sam is 10 times the manager, he will find his feet and when he does he will get it right, have faith and patience
  3. Too much needs to be done at Newcastle for a man wearing L plates to come in and sort it out. We need a manager who has experience and can use his experience to settle the club and make us a top 8 side. Only then and even thats a maybe, can we appoint Shearer.
  4. I have to agree, it kind of went inbetween his arms, he definately could have got a touch
  5. I like the Adidas shirts, i hope we dont get some shit company making them.
  6. I had this argument with my dad a few weeks ago. They just cannot stop going on about his brother. Like that stupid slag Gabby Logan on Inside Sport a couple of weeks a go. Bitch. The lad doesnt stand a chance - they will only rest when he is hung drawn and quartered I didn't see the interview, but I heard she was out of order and kept on harping back to it like she was trying to goad him into saying something. Honestly mate it was sickening. In a 20 minute interview I didnt hear the words Newcastle United once and dont actually recall much general football being discussed. She shouold be fucking strung up for it. You'd give her one though tbf
  7. If true then he is fucked in regards to his up coming court case, should definately be looking at jail time now.
  8. Surely Virgin will have to be on our shirts if/when Branson buys Northern Rock? Or will we play with the sponser covered for a season?
  9. Think it is more likely to be a reduction for the January sales. Will prob go back up in Febuary
  10. Next 4: Chelsea - lose Man City - lose Stoke - win Man Utd - lose Looking at the fixtures the chances our Bolton is our next league win, if not that then Boro in FEBUARY
  11. Middlesbrough (H), Sun 3rd Feb. And ill be there
  12. At least the manager and players are on good terms eh
  13. This will happen you know, when we expect to win we dont, when we expect to get raped off the park, we dont.
  14. Surely if he wanted to get rid then he could just sack Sam? The chances are alot of the staff will leave to follow Sam at his next club.
  15. Its annoying me how much Given is running off his line these days, alot of the time for no reason
  16. Ashley has sat with the fans for 2 away games this season, yesterday at Wigan was a brave move for him and he couldnt have sat there and not absorbed the pain and anger of the fans, people will talk to him, im think i heard our own fans chant "we're shit and we're sick of it"? Ashley is a good business man and this business LOOKS LIKE its failing, although im not saying it IS i am saying it looks like it is. Could you sell a product if the customers were getting more and more sick of it as the weeks go by? People said that Ashley has a plan for Newcastle, to make us a major force, some people said that everyone he has told this plan to has believed him, surely this isnt part of the plan? If i spent as many millions of pounds on a club i wouldnt be happy at all with the shit we are putting out every week. The pressure is on Ashley now to prove his ambition and not sit in the shadows and accept what is happening. The fans are divided in 2, those who want Sam out and those who dont, either in January or in the summer Ashley must either back Sam with the funds to bring us the goals we need or else sack him. I am also sick of this whole "he isnt Ashleys choice" bullshit. I would hate to think Ashley is thinking that Sam wasnt his choice because if he is then he needs to get rid.
  17. Agree mate, the Smith thing has swung it though, he put him up front and even though he's not much of a goal threat he's much more effective there than in midfield. So ok, he's recognised a problem and done something about it, good. Maybe he'll now recognise a few more things that every other c*** can see and begin to learn that his football isn't working. Then he puts him back in midfield. Sums it up for me. mackems.gif He was put back in midfield in a hope he would put in a performance. Sadly the plan backfired. (The point was to prove to those dropped they were not un-droppable- instead it highlighted thier need) Of course Smith shouldn't be getting near the side, based on recent perfromances, but would you drop the owners vision for the future? If Smith is Ashley's vision of the future then we may as well give up now. Grafters who cant do anything other than graft will get this club nowhere, fact.
  18. I still think if we played players in their correct positions and used tactics to play to their strengths then we would have alot more points than we have now, when we consider where we didnt pick up points i.e. Derby etc.
