He has a valid point on Miggy though so he is not wrong. Whether it’s wrong or not to mention in here is a different matter depending on who reads it. Surely you’re allowed to make comparisons with other players in player x thread. Some people have gone overboard with the hate and criticism against players by almost abusing them and saying they are absolutely shite and this and that. I definitely don’t agree with that, especially when it goes too far. However you should also be allowed to say “negative” things and express your opinion on whatever it might be that you don’t like or rate or something that isn’t working at the moment without it being judged as total negativity and abuse, why do you support this club and this and that. It’s ok to think player x has been very poor, or player x can be improved. Or say that we have been shite during a game. There just needs to be a balance. All this positive/negative stuff has got ridiculous with two different sides being relentless about it. It’s tiresome, from both sides. Not all is Black or White. There needs to be a balance from both sides and everyone in between. The forum would be much better for it. I know I went a bit everywhere with this. Could say that this post was meant in general for this forum. So not literally aimed at you as I went blah blah. This forum can be so much better, no matter “what side” you’re on or in between. Sometimes people only choose to take notice of the negative while also missing out on all the positives a poster makes. Valid points and balance is all I’m saying.

I know he was suspended today. But is he injured now too? Thought it only was a very short term one. As in not missing any games because of it.

Howe just doesn’t want to expose him too much. Has played quite a few big games now so it’s good to try and protect him slightly and give him a little rest. Being fresh once he plays will also give him the best chance to perform and grow even more in confidence and belief. He’s our second best midfielder after Bruno I think. I do sense that Tonali will have a season to remember next season too.

Start him against Chelsea and give Trippier one more game to rest and then start Tripps in the next league game.

The most insane thing is that we have seen quite a bit of him playing now. Then when you see him in an interview it really strikes you “how the fuck can this kid be that player I’ve seen on the pitch do all that so effortlessly!!” His decision making along with all the technical ability just makes him a diamond. The composure he shows both with head and feet is astonishing really. Almost never makes the wrong decision. He evaluates what to do so well and quickly.

Very much so. Gives the receiving player a much better starting point. Space and time.

Felt surreal to see him back somehow

I don’t care how much money we would get for him. Keep him at all costs. Everything has to be built around him. If someone pays the clause and he wants to leave then yeah, fair enough. Hers good enough to play for any club in the world. He’s not a super physical dynamic monster. He is just puuuure football ability. If he doesn’t work out in a football team then it’s because of the setup and what’s around him.

First half we dominated for obvious reasons. But we looked sloppy and poor in possession and slightly desperate. 2nd half very very good overall. Composed and calm and with good quality overall. Not easy against 10 always. Bruno and Miley very very good. Krafth as well as some others who were decent. Massive win really.

Bruno is just different class. He’s too good. Imagine him once we become slightly more possession based in the near future. He is out of this world.

We have many kind of good players missing. But we simply don’t have many that are suited for this kind of situations with the opposition extremely deep

I don’t think we have a single player that is good 1v1? Unless there’s a lot of space to run into. High balls in to the box probably isn’t the way to go. Hard and low and hope that one bounces right?
