Probably one of his best games ever for us as some have mentioned. His shooting is absolutely horrendous though If he puts in performances like yesterday then I don’t really care.

Perfect 4th choice CB for us at “worst” if we sign another class CB. Very happy to see him doing so well. His passing is much more progressive and better quality wise as well. Important member off the pitch as well. Don’t think he will want to leave even if we sign another CB. He will get plenty of game time anyway.

Press them and they will struggle to string passes together. Need to try and make sure we don’t sit deep to much and allow them into the wide areas pumping balls in to the goal area. Thing with them is that they don’t mind sitting deep themselves either which might make it difficult to break them down as often as we would like. Think a balance would be the best, not sitting deep while also not force them too deep for longer periods of time. Should half invite them before we put the press and win the ball and do some sort of semi countering football to get the first goal hopefully two. If that makes sense…

He has matured so much. Has become such a great character with amazing attitude and mentality. Great to see.

Miley will be ahead of Longstaff, Willock and Anderson if he isn’t already. He has the skill and most importantly the football brain to become “elite”. (I know a couple of them are more left sided). Have seen enough from Miley to know that he has every chance to go to the very top. His only hindrance is himself and injuries. Seems a very humble and level headed kid so I’m not too worried about the mentality side of it. If we can get Philips on loan with no obligation to buy then yes, do it. Otherwise wait until the summer and bring in an elite CM of some sort. To Ali coming back too who I think will be class next season. Would mean great depth in CM.

Absolutely brilliant. Especially in that 1st half. 17 ffs So composed and plays with his head up. He has footballing IQ. Already better than Longstaff imo. Not seen much of him yet but I don’t need to see more to eat him higher already. Sky is the limit. Level headed kid too. Love it.

I never wrote him off like some did. I just think what you are doing is childish. Knickers in a twist, yeah right… Im not even slightly annoyed.

Long term it would be the best for him and the club if he stays where he is for at least this season. Also important to do all we can to have a great relationship with Feyenoord and other clubs. Massively important going forward when we will be looking to sign young players and get them good loans.

If we can get close to 20m then it’s an absolute no brainier. Would be sad to see him go but this will happen with quite a few players in the coming windows. How much would 15-20m help us when it comes to FFP? I’d be very happy with 18m+.
