Can’t get enough of LM content. Love seeing our other players amongst others talking about him. Every time I see his face in photos and interviews I struggle to think it’s the same guy who plays so maturely and well for us on the pitch

Does he not get a lot of game time because of Lamine Yamal or whatever his name is? He was doing pretty well for them earlier on iirc (Raphinha). Has played a bit more on the left at times than he might have wished for i think.

Arouna Sangante could be a nice option for many clubs if Todibo is a bit too expensive.

Would love to see Botman start but I hope we don’t take any risks whatsoever. Personally I’d rather see him get more minutes gradually. We can handle a game or two without him. Long term he would be a massive miss. Especially when you consider his ball playing ability and the calmness he brings to the team.

I don’t get the “ongoing” groin injury but he might play. Groin problems are shit. Only thing that helps short term is to rest and allow it to recover and then carefully build some load. Obviously depends on how severe it is. He could barely run in the last game so I don’t see how it’s suddenly good enough to handle intense sprints. He might be able to play through the pain but it’s only gonna get worse without a decent rest. With groin injuries it’s so easy to “I think it might be ok I’ll try” only to damage it more. If we are to take the words like literally.

Ok. Let’s push them and risk months out. I’d start Trippier at a push. Krafth isn’t the same as a fit Trippier but I’d be tempted to start him.

Rest Botman, Trippier and Isak against Chelsea no matter what please. Give Botman 20-25 minutes.

Cannot not love him. Having said that, i wouldn't mind us breaking the bank for someone like Olise next summer. Buy it nice or buy it twice.

We are overloaded in quantity but definitely not in quality.

Some people have different opinions. Maybe they want a different type of player, or prefer to go for another option/route. I personally wouldn't mind Phillips. Everyone can not always agree with every signing. That signing might prove to be a great one (great, everybody wins) or the opposite (everybody lose). Sometimes people get it right when they say he's the right one, sometimes they get it wrong. Writing someone off 100% entirely even if they don't like the signing is wrong though. If so, i'm sure everybody hopes to get proven wrong. No need to argue about it like kids when it happens, or being silly a year later.

There’s still two games to play until we STILL have half the season to play. Our away form has been poor and needs to get better. We are out of Europe now. Hopefully a couple of good results away and some players back and maaayybe a signing or two to strengthen us in January. Get some momentum going and a fresh squad with good quality and decent depth and anything can happen now without Europe affecting us. Easy to forget that the teams above might bottle things after a couple of bad results and the pressure of getting top 4 towards the end of the season. Fingers crossed that we can keep key players fit. Especially Bruno and Isak to name two. IF there’s any possibility to get a TOP keeper then do it. It would give the whole team confidence and a calmness that you won’t get without one.

Fair enough. I don’t really put too much thought into valid points that are mentioned too often maybe. In this case he was talking about how Bruno does it well and then just made a comparable point as an example. Never thought about it being any kind of dig whatsoever against Miggy so I didn’t even take notice. I’m sure there’s nothing to react to here as he didn’t mean any harm by doing so. Positive or negative things on this forum gets repeated hundreds of times per day. Just like on any other forum. It’s just when it’s done wrong when it’s not very pleasant.
