  1. I love Eddie and he has my support 100%. What he has achieved with us in such a short period of time is nothing but amazing. There are some things i wish he would have done differently when it comes to say rotation, subs and some tactical bits. I'm sure he and the team have learn't tons from this when it comes to many things, being a new experience with the CL, in many ways. However, the next few signings will tell a lotabout where we are looking to go. We need better players technically and in possession as well as style/tactics to control games better, and to save some energy when possible. I don't agree with the signing of Barnes for example. Is a an effective player? Yes, in many scenarios. I don't see him starting ahead of Gordon for example. Some might say that Gordon can play RW and Barnes on the left. I don't want this though as it would make us too predictable having 2 wide players that don't offer too much when it comes to flair and 1v1, especially against teams that tactically or "forced" decide to sit back slightly deeper like many teams play away in europe, as well as lesser teams in the league. Barnes might very well prove to be a very good squad player but i don't ever see him being a key player in a team that once it evolves will need better players in general play to control and break teams down. At the very time of the signing i would much have prefered to see us putting that money elsewhere. I can easily see Gordon being a starting player in the future too, but we need to strike a good balance when it comes to the style and attributes of players as we look to progress and inevitably evolve. I'm very excited about the future and extremely happy and proud of what we have achieved so far. I know i keep babbling about technical/creativity/flair and so on, but it's a must go route going forward to progress to the next level. As said, balance is key.
  2. Agreed. Which itself is as much as 25% of what qualifying for the CL basically gave us. Never mind the sporting side of it too.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

A confident and calm top quality keeper is worth their weight in gold. As important as a goalscorer in form. The stability of it makes the whole team less nervous in many situations knowing that there's a commanding wall present at tha last post. Can't stress enough how much of a difference it makes, never mind for the back four. Keeping clean sheets or conceding very very few always give you a massive chance to nick a win with only a goal or two scored, Not breaking news, but still. As important as any part of the spine, if not one of the most important even when considering the belief and confidence it adds to a team.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Whatever we sign i hope it's quality before quantity. Technical ability is main priority for me (apart from character)
  5. I feel relaxed too. Just want to add that saying we're 4p off 4th sounds slightly better than it actually is when you consider that it's Man City. You are correct though, literally. Man City will pick up, it's only a matter of time.
  6. Tactically done today by Dyche. Fair play to him. Has done a decent job this season.
  7. At least we can blame it on fatique only..
  8. Prophet is a proper head in the sand no matter what
  9. Gordon has barely done one thing right today.
  10. We’re just not working hard enough today. Let’s see us find our energy levels in the 2nd half again.
  11. it’s not because of fatique today. Lazy excuse. I’m not buying that we’re tired. Just not on our toes here.
  12. We’ve gone into the game thinking it’s a walk in the park. No focus or intensity or movement/tempo.
  13. We need better movement and play the ball quicker. Also my iptv is proper fucking shite.
  14. Has been awful today like many others.
  15. Perhaps it’s time to start showing some fucking focus!!
  16. Im not worried about this at all for this game. Unfortunately we don’t have many good subs to make though. We should be rested.
  17. The absolute biggest mistake we can do in this game is to sit too deep to often as it will allow them to put crosses in way too often. Taking the game to them is the best way to go.
  18. I would say that the circumstances for this game compared to Bournemouth away is very very different to say at least. For the better now. 1st team is stronger, more confident as well as 5 days rest.
  19. I would also be disappointed with a draw. We are more than good enough to win if our attitude and mentality is right. We have had like 5 days rest too. Go for their throats! 1-4. If we wanna be up in the top 4 we have to get more points away. I bet Howe and the team won't be happy with a draw, and rightly so.
