  1. Would be stupid to not start him against Villa imo. We'd be weaker and he needs to get used to his new team asap.
  2. Moussa Sissoko: I aim to be Newcastle's Vieira Jan 27 2013 by Neil Cameron, Sunday Sun Moussa Sissoko MOUSSA SISSOKO believes he can be Newcastle’s United very own Patrick Vieira – and he wants to achieve even more than his countryman did in English football. Of the five French signings made by Alan Pardew during this January transfer window, it is the capture of the 23-year-old midfielder that has excited the supporters more than any other. And the France international fully intends to live up to his star billing. Sissoko, who has agreed a six-and-a-half-year deal with the Magpies, was asked yesterday whether the comparisons made between him and Vieira, one of the best ever Premier League imports, were fair. United’ new No7 said: “Yes. I am not going to say no. Patrick had a fantastic career here in England and if I can replicate that then it would be absolutely fantastic for me. “And why not even try to go one better if I could? “Obviously, it is a pleasure to be compared to someone of his ilk. But Vieira is Vieira. I am Sissoko. We are two different players. I will go out to play my own game. “I have set myself high objectives and I will give my best to get Newcastle out of this situation, finish as high as possible, and do as well as I possibly can for the club.” Sissoko admitted that the past few days had been difficult as Toulouse threatened to block his move after he agreed a deal to sign for the Toon in the summer. However, Pardew was determined to land one of Ligue 1’s biggest talents now and he was snapped up for a nominal fee. Sissoko, who in his own words is a box-to-box midfielder, came through the youth ranks at his French club and went on to make 218 appearances, scoring 23 goals. He has won six senior international caps so far. It is this pedigree that makes Newcastle fans believe they may have a star on their hands. Sissoko said: “It is very flattering to hear that the supporters are excited about my signing. It’s nice to know they wanted me here so much. “It’s now up to me to go out on the pitch and prove myself, to show them the kind of player I am. “I want to enjoy my time playing for Newcastle, but it is also important the fans enjoy watching me play for their team. They have always come, they have always supported the team, and we really need them at the moment. “So I will go out and give 100 per cent effort and show what I can do.” Sissoko will be in the squad for Tuesday night’s vital match against Aston Villa and he is ready to start the game if given the nod by Pardew. He said: “Yes I am ready. I am here to play. I played last weekend for Toulouse and if called upon then I will be 100 per cent ready to play.”

    Hatem Ben Arfa

The Ben Arfa threat will give our other players so much more space, and vice versa

Funny that HBA missed most of our preseason and still easily looked like our fittest player against Spurs. Makes you wonder what we actually did or didn't do in preseason.
  5. A 4-4-2 with Cabaye and Sissoko would be such a waste of talent. Hopefully we won't go down that road again.

They are 7 points ahead of us for now, but it sounds like they think they are miles ahead of us in every way We've had an extremely poor season, with so many injuries and suspensions and players out of form, shocking decisions from our manager and on and on. They are absolutely certain that we'll go down Have a feeling they are counting their chickens far too early..AGAIN..
  9. Can't wait! Very very excited about this game, and a bit nervous as well.
  10. Sissoko and Cabaye in front of Anita spraying cum. But i don't wanna leave Marv out who's better centrally than in a wide position.

    Loïc Remy

What was said about QPR's wages to turnover? Was it like 183% or something? Someone posted this a while ago.
  12. Giggs installed them for us.
  13. We're clearly targeting players pacey as fuck Pardew did mention our lack of pace and power a while ago.
  14. A player that could challenge Usain Bolt.
  15. Doesn't mean it's true. But yeah, he will probably stay there for now.
  16. Can't see this happen either. But no matter what happens with this or any other potential signing there will at least be some excitement for the rest of the transfer window as we've gone loco and you can never say never that we wont sign more players even though it's unlikely, this bid confirms it. That said, im over the moon with our dealing in this window, absolutely delighted. Anything else would just be another massive bonus.
  17. Will we go back with an higher offer? Yes, i think so. No way that our first offer is the highest we're prepared to go, or? Unless we've been told that he wont leave no matter what.
  18. It's official, they turned down our bid. We're really trying
  19. Was it Dave who posted the Lion King - Mbiwa chant? I liked that one very much.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Been way too long since we saw Ben Arfa play. Can't wait to see him again, top top class player. He'll probaböy be back to his best ever soon as it looks like we're going to play a system that suits him and our other players better. And the new signings added to this (especially Debuchy) My favourite, what a player! Makes football worth watching.
