If Demba goes we'd need to sign another (not that we will) i would go for another like Remy who can play wide and centrally, would give us great options up front/wide. But hopefully we'll get one in at least, no matter what happens with Ba.

We lose Demba, Remy goes to West Ham//QPR. We couldn't compete with the wages they were prepared to offer, and sometimes players choose London ahead of the NE and we'll have to move on with what we have and focus on the games to come blahblah...

This! Too bad Cissé didn't put him through after Anita passed him and moved quickly in to the penalty area, would have been a very nice goal, Anita should have got it and jumped in frustration. Actually that is the first time in a long time i've seen one of our players do what Anita did, pass and move in to space in the penalty area.

Agree, except we deserve to be losing. Defending has been as poor as is possible. Yes, i added the bit about sloppy defending later. Lack of final ball sometimes but we've looked better than i've seen us apart from that. Cannot remember the last time we played so many quick passes forward, especially centrally. Anita is a class act!

From the games i've seen this season, i think overall this is the best we've looked all season, high tempo, movement and quick passing. 2-0 feels unfair imo. Very positive play from us. Feels weird actually, i shouldn't be happy at 0-2 down but i feel positive somehow because of our display overall. I love Anita!
