How much could we get if we decided to sell him? 2-3M?
-
Imo he's just low on confidence at the moment, normally i think he's a good player, The only thing he really lacks is end product. Simple as that.

First five touches of a rapist, not really something you wish to see.

Sorry for updating this thread Sounds promising that he's very much in Pardews plans and that he will speak with Derek about a possible deal, hopefully he still wants to stay and that the board want him as well, not sure about it, but i do think the support he got after his injury will matter alot when/if a decision is to be made. Quality for a small fee. Would absolutely love to see him playing for us next season and for years to come. He's such a exciting player. Hopefully he recovers well both physically and mentally.

i guess that rules out Mourinho.

Im not even going to try and explain in detail how i feel about this fucking mess we're in at the moment (hughton being sacked), and it surely doesn't look too bright for the future either. Im angry, frustrated and sad at the same time about all this as all of you, it's even hard to find the words for it cause it just doesn't feel real. This is MY opinion and i will stand for it as well, you can say whatever you want to me, i honestly dont care, im not writing all this because im looking for trouble or anything, i just want to express my honest opinion about some people on this forum. I dont post alot on this forum but i spend quite some time every day reading around. Maybe it's overreactions (can there be any now though?) but it fucking annoys me when i read stuff like "im done supporting this football club" "this is it, enough is enough until Ashley and co are out" and lines along like these, because there's been quite a few and im not going to quote, neither do i remember who exactly wrote what and so on, but i would like to tell you who feel this way to fuck off, maybe sounds harsh but that's how i personally feel when i read shit like that. We dont have to support the idiots at our club, but we've got to support Newcastle United Football Club and it's name and the players, i bet that many of the players feel exactly the same as us fans, but if we give up what says that the players wont? If we show our support to them as usual or even more now during these difficult circumstances we might have a team in the future, but if we dont and many of us choose the easy option instead and give up there's probably a bigger risk thar the players will feel the same way and give up, and if we start loosing many key players im really worried about the club that i love and where this could end. Ashley isn't Newcastle United, and never will be, we dont have to love our new manager or have the greatest of faith in him even if we would love to have someone special in many ways, but i know that no matter who he picks we cannot turn on his back from the start, no matter how much we would like to do so, cause it wont help our players to perform any better and it will only affect them in a negative way. What we can do is to support the players as much as we can no matter what we think of Ashley. The asshole is at our club, it's just the way it is, we can choose to make the best of it or we can make it worse. Im not trying to tell you to support Ashley, how the fuck could we?

lost for words, dont even have the energy anymore to start thinkin about what to say

Birmingham still haven't offered Sebastian Larsson a new contract, expires in the summer, good player with great crossing as you already know, can play centre or on right side of midfield just like Joey, i would go for him and put Joey in the centre again with robocop!

2-1 win! Campbell and Carroll, we lead by 2-0 and they score in the second half and put us under alot of pressure because we're going to defend too deep and not playing our usual game, but we manage to hang in there and luckily get all 3 points. Campbell scoring the first from a Joey Barton corner, Carroll the second on a throughball, also assisted by Barton. Something like that, us playing really well in the first half!

Gervinho is fantastic, young, Black, and expensive. How much do you think he would cost? Around £8m? More? I know it's alot of money, but imagine him playing off Carroll, he can also play in other positions and in different roles. He would improve our team and squad alot and is still young, i know that maybe we dont have that much money if we do/did i do think he would be willing to come here, even if it's alot of money i think it would be money well spent, it's not like we're throwing money into the trash can, it's almost a safe investment and he would increase in value quite rapidly. There are other positions that needs to be strengthened of course, we cannot afford him in january i know, but next summer wouldn't be impossible imo. But if there's one position now that needs to be adressed it's up front! Carroll gets injured or we dont get goals through him we're f***ed, we really are!

This! I highly doubt that we have that much money or that Lille would sell Gervinho in january, very unlikely. But i would love it if we went in for him before next season. He's class, one for now and the future, can play in many positions also, drueling when i think about him in our team playing with Carroll. I dont think we should sign too many players before next season, maybe one or two quality players (Ben Arfa included) What i would go for is some better players with potential for back up to our current first team, so that the quality of our squad increases. We should not forget that we wouldn't want to change too much too early with players in and out, that's no good. But of course it's still early in the season and much might change during the season, we dont know how good each player will be for the rest of the season, but it looks good at this moment, hopefully no injurys to our most important players! But if it was the end of the season now and the planning for new recruits started now i would go for a quality pacey striker like Gervinho, and sign up Ben Arfa and then look for some better backup players than we have now in some positions. That for me would be a great transfer window!
