Just do a search for Leon Best on YT. There's a video there called Leon Best Is Mint - A Tribute . It's quality stuff - do not miss it.
-
Hmm I dunno like, the cringeworthy interview he did with Mancini, saying Leon Best has came through the ranks with Shola, then went onto mention it another couple of times saying how they knew each others game inside out, Jonas has played left back numerous times for Argentina and there was another massive fuck up from him that has escaped my memory, little help anyone? All valid points but being a wet rat faced cunt is probably the biggest drawback.

Agree. He was our third or fourth choice by all accounts and looks as if he's only really had a decent'ish spell at sochaux. I mean 14 in 36 is not bad but it's not setting the world on fire. Hopefully everyone has been severely scolded following the summer and Mr Carr is out their tying up the striker version of Cabaye. I would think that the reason we pursued him up until the final day was because Carr rated him highly in any case. The fact that Sochaux refused to sell him also suggests they must rate him pretty highly, one season or not.

I think Gary Neville on Sky has put most of the football pundits on other shows to shame. He seems to be very articulate and has genuine insight where others like Shearer just trot out banal predictable waffle without saying anything at all.
-
He's just trying to get picked for the first team again, I wouldn't read too much into those comments. I still don't think we'll sign him now in any case. If he does well other clubs will be sniffing. If he does badly we'll probably have second thoughts ourselves.

Which is why I'd start Ba as well, not bloody Lovencrap. I reckon Loven will be replaced by Ben Arfa in the second half, and hopefully Ba will be on the pitch at the same time. I'd love to see those two together, and as I don't think either will start there's a great chance they'll both be on the pitch together at some point.

'tis true my dislike of the twat is unhealthy, but venting seems to help. Well it doesn't really. Anyway...

and those who think it would be a good pairing should be shot Also the rest of the crowd in the SOS should be machine gunned as well. By attending the game they are showing tacit support for such a midfield from Hell.

He left Liverpool when the pressure got too much as well didn't he? That's how it will end again IMO. The fans won't slag him publicly if results dip but behind the scenes it will be a different story. Liverpool will struggle to finish in the CL spot and that's failure considering how much money they've blown on fairly mediocre players. not sure that quite tells the whole story like You're absolutely right Mr M. Dalglish left Liverpool on understandable health grounds, Blackburn and Celtic were for other reasons. Why are you so obsessed with Liverpool on this forum? Over the last few seasons we've reluctantly sold some of our biggest players but I couldn't care less about the clubs they've gone to, if they don't want to be here fuck them, the clubs they've gone to are immaterial. Anyone can go on other clubs forums and take individual quotes that are a very small part of the overall fan base thinking, just to aid their own hate, but why the fuck would you take the time to bother? I read loads of ridiculous statements about LFC, NUFC and other clubs, on here, but I'd have to be pretty anal to take any of them to another forum. Ermm...how do you expect Newcastle fans to feel about Dalglish. He turns the head of the best left back we've had for years no doubt using his association to Newcastle to keep tabs on our players and you don't think we feel resentful? I'm sure when Torres returns to Liverpool you all give him a marvellous reception while remarking "Fair play Chelsea, unsettling our best striker was a super plan"

This is how I feel I'm more excited to see the reserve line up than the real thing tbh.

Unexpected bonus that Mehdi is going to feature tonight. Fair play Pards.

80k a week? I hope the extra 10k was worth it to leave Newcastle. No doubt his agent (who he employed) would say it was if some of that is going in his pocket.

I'm not a Keegan worshipper, he had his faults, but one thing which struck me when he took over was it didn't matter how well a player had done, if he could get someone in better to improve the team he'd ruthlessly ditch the inferior player, no matter how popular and play the new guy. Not everyone is capable of being that strong of purpose. Maybe Pardew is, and he's just someone who likes to talk players up, but I have my doubts still.
-
Generally Pardew has usually persisted with failing players until results dictate changes have to be made. I imagine the same will happen here. Taylor will keep his place until he has a blindingly shite game and Santon will get the nod. Then we'll see just what we have been missing if Pardew just had some vision.
-
That's not exactly bad news, as to market their sports goods in the far east they'll need a successful team on the pitch. It actually gives me hope that they have some sort of vision rather than just run the club as cheap as possible.

Gardner's a great name for a pish midfielder who can shoot a bit. If football doesn't work out he could always set himself up as a landscaper. My hedges could do with a trim and I'm willing to pay Craig £20 if he does a nice job.
