He was always going to go. If we can get £6m in and spend it on a decent left back it'll be the best outcome in the circumstances.

no context Zaius, NO CONTEXT!!! The transfer window hasn't shut yet though has it?

Mick, Get the legal papers drafted and fax them straight to Thompson House. Publishing such a bunch of blatant lies must be grounds for a lawsuit!

You don't have to turn a blind eye, you could always demand someone else buy the club and invest more money in the squad, or join the NUST and demand Ashley sell up. Or boycott the club's pies and buy greggs pasties. I'm sure there are many exciting avenues to force change.

The timing of him doing that makes it look quite reactionary doesnt it? Not something that would have persisted. Look at his reaction to Nolan being sold, his initial comments before coming around to "well thats just how clubs work" hours later. He'd have been fine man, we've dealt with this very badly. You are ignoring what has been brewing since January wrt his new contract. You can't just pretend this is just a couple of twitters in isolation, this has been brewing for months and at the earliest opportunity Barton has tried to divide the dressing room. The only way to deal with it is to get him and any other resentful prick out of the club. Tried to divide the dressing room You couldnt be more biased towards disliking the guy in the first place its beyond apparent. Your conclusions all have alternative options and you are ignoring all of them purely to choose the single idea that fits with what you personally want to believe. No sensible reasoning behind it atall. On the contrary I'm pretty sure I posted here only last week that I felt Joey was going to be a key player here for us this season as I felt he would add much needed steel. So that pretty much blows your bias argument out of the water. (See if I was Mick I would be instructing a lawyer to request you withdraw that accusation or there would be serious consequences). I can post a link if you like.

When did Barton publicly tell Pardew that he was making a wrong decision? Mick it's a public forum to debate issues. If you are going to start playing lawyer rather than tell us your opinion then don't complain if others do the same.

So it hasn't been coinfirmed, thanks. No it hasn't been "coin"firmed if you are talking legal jargon. I'm not sure what coinfirmed even means unless you are writing with a New Jersey accent.

Where's this been confirmed? How can you confirm reports? You can choose to believe whatever you want given what's out there.

Especially since the reports coming out confirm that he's going to stay here to cause trouble only. Right from his initial sarcastic "welcome" to the arrival of Cabaye and now apparently targeting him for a tongue lashing his sabotage campaign should be apparent to even the most blinkered Ashley haters. Of course the cunt's being made to train alone, why would you allow him to spread his revenge inspired poison to the rest of the camp?
-
That's it keep your head up your arse while Joey gleefully wrecks the dressing room by ranting at the new players who have replaced his best mate Nolan. When he signs for Spurs you can sing his his name when he turns up at St James on the bench.
-
This basically. There were clues earlier on when Joey first started tweeting and before that as well, but I was prepared to believe Joey would knuckle down and give 100% in his final year here. That was obviously never his intention or his lying scumbag agent's either. The talk of a top four club is laughable. If he had one lined up he wouldn't be threatening to stay here I can promise you that much. He's just out to cause as much aggro as possible, that much is clear to anyone with an open mind.

In all honesty, Man Utd have got rid of plenty of players who haven't adhered to the club culture in the past and, as far as I can tell,, fans have generally supported this stance. Its more the anti-glazer protests. far more aggressive than ours Ashley can do anything to us. We cry for a week or two, then its all back to normal again. He knows this, he realised it after the Keegan stuff. It would be interesting to see how other sets of fans would react in the same situation. Rooney threatens to leave Man Utd and masked men are threatening him outside his house. I still havent a clue how Ashley even gets in the fuckin ground! Because what they did is pathetic and we have more pride and self control to rise above s*** like that ? Totally agree. Doesn't really help us though. Im just struggling to think of a situation where Ashley would be forced to leave. He's like a fuckin cockroach I'd say more like a barnacle, fecker just wont let go. I cant fathom why he just doesn't sell, all the stick he gets and yet no hint of selling, either he is trying but asking too much or just wont sell, our club has become his own little toy, sadly. Well he tried to sell and failed over a period of two years. I'm sure he regrets buying the club, but he came to a decision eventually that the uncertainty was more wearisome than the hassle of making a go of it. So he formed a long-term plan and has committed himself to it. That's where we're at now. He can't be comfortable with all the abuse, but he seems resolved to ignore it and plough on. I know we tried to sell, i just dont get why he didn't just leave it available for sale when he couldn't find a buyer last time, shows us he is still trying to get out, i dont buy the stability thing either, look where we are now. In order to sell you need a buyer. The club doesn't officially need to be up for sale for someone to come in and make a deal. Last time round the only taker was Barry Moat but when he applied for a loan and tried putting his holiday caravan up as security, Barclays politely declined the offer.

That's an awful lot of text to write without actually coming to any point or opinion. It still contained more logic than most of the other posts put together. Bit harsh, you've really been trying hard with yours. It's predictable behaviour when stumped to answer with reason to attack the poster personally as you can see with your posting style.

You're right they do have fuck all to moan about. I guess it's all just theoretical how other clubs would react - but I certainly don't think that we, as supporters of the club, have done our best to make Mike Ashley feel unwelcome. I think we could have a good season if we get the couple of players in we are talking about signing. However, if the mood turns ugly, which is the way many here seem to be advocating, then that makes relegation seem much more of a likelihood than it did last week. Maybe that would make some people happy as they would be vindicated. Would it get rid of Ashley? Would it fuck.

You're certainly soft in the head. But ive been more newcastle matches than you have had hot dinners. (are you somalian) why don't you stop buying season tickets and stop lining cockney spiv's wallet then? I am 39. I have had a ST since i was 15. I have not renewed this year, i will still go the aways and renew when he no longer owns the club. Fine, that's your prerogative, but having been to more games than a Somalian or an Egytpian doesn't necessarily mean you're right and the other lad's wrong. Just saying.

Ah ok guess we won't get him then. You won't offer him a 4 year deal? cockney spiv bastards!

He's going to be sticking it to us as well if he destroys the dressing room, which appears to be high on his agenda. He's already started according to my man ITK. Snuck into the ground tonight and took a sledgehammer to the ice bath. He hasn't got round to poking a cigar in the Janitor's eye yet then?

Fair's probably not the best term for it. If he wanted to go there he could just as easily have handed in a transfer request rather than opening a twitter account to spread s**** and lower the fee for the club that's tapping him up. Care to explain why, if he was so desperate to go as is claimed, there was any need for the Twitter bollocks (or a transfer request), when the club were trying to sell him anyway? I've asked this about 10 times in this thread and still not had a decent answer. If we were so eager to sell, why we letting him go for free? Barton has made it clear he would not be sold at any price. He wanted to see out his contract or go for nothing. I believe it was a matter of principal following the manner of Carroll's departure, whereby the pushed him into the corner of a transfer request (which I think he was a t*** for submitting). The club therefore had a player who they would be forced to spend another £3m in wages on and who guaranteed a zero return. As with EVERY decision made at the club, this one was made to save money. Ashley's view is £3m is worth more than 30 odd appearances over the season from JB. I've heard the argument that 'if he wanted to go where's the transfer request' thing, yet by the same token if we were so desperate to get rid, why didn't we transfer list him? I'm sure some club would have spent £2-3m on him now. That's what I covered in my post. He had no intention of being sold at any price. He'd just have turned down any club that came in for him. Great that he's helping his new club to get a better deal. Super going Spurs
-
Of the clubs mentioned so far that's the only decent one I think is realistic. Plus it's 'arry's way of working to tap someone up and then get him to work himself to get the price lowered. Throw in the fact Mikey's a closet Spurs fan and some conspiracy shit and you have a winner

Yep. Bunch of cunts. A cockney bunch of cunts no less. Unfortunately no geordie saviours have got two pennies to rub together otherwise we wouldn't be going through this agony. The only one who had some capital was Fat Fred and he ran out of Newcastle with a 40m swag bag and was last seen trying to buy some Spanish club for £10m. Doesn't have to be a geordie, just preferably not a complete cunt. Good luck with that then.
