Been a great game tbh. We've tried to play good football, Anita dropping very deep and starting things from the back. The right side has been immense, the left awful. Wij has shown some good touches but not as involved as I'd like. He'd look better in Colback's role I think. Colback has been Colback. This CB duo is going to have real problems against any big CF's, just don't think we can get away with two guys who are less than 6ft. Cisse is a massive handicap to any attempt for us to play good football. Makes controlling a ball moving at moderate pace and playing a simple pass look as painfully and needlessly complicated as season two of True Detective. Alongside a target man he's a quality goal poacher but in the role he has today he looks and will continue to look awful.

Whole left side is laughable. Cisse been shite so far too.

Been very good so far from us, liking Anita's role.

I can at least understand the logic of Obertan starting. If Aarons isn't fit enough and McClaren wants a winger on that side to give us real pace then it makes sense. The plan falls down because Obertan is shite, but whatever. Colback and Anita as a duo is stupid. Both offer the same sort of thing to the team, playing them both is a bit redundant. Should have had Wij deep and either Perez or De Jong in the #10 role.

Thought from the link we might be targeting Triple H. Would be better than Williamson, anyway. I think Austin will come down to the last day, we'll try to get him and move on Cisse. The worry (or quite possibly the plan) is that we move Cisse out and then don't get Austin in. Similar in other positions. Think if we can sell some retards we'll replace them them, can possibly see us finding a buyer for Obertan but Gouffran's reported wages makes him impossible to move on IMO.

The slagging he gets on here from some people is insane. The idea of Aarons and Sissoko on the wings is exciting stuff, we'd be a real threat on the break for the first time in fucking ages. Imagine Sissoko will be allowed roam and have Janmaat bomb on, which sounds nice.

I know that Pardew and Carver set the bar incredibly low but his quotes since becoming manager have made good reading. After the last few years what this club under Ashley needs is a team that plays open, attacking football and gets involved in some exciting games. After years of Pardew ball we're all starved for some sort of excitement, if I were taking the job now my primary goal would be to get the team playing football that gets the fans out of their seats and enjoying just being at the game and supporting the team.

Team looks good to me. Think we'll see Colback instead of Perez and one of the retards at CB instead of Mbemba though, sadly. Come on McClaren, don't be a wanker.

Great post from Chat earlier today.

Did Palace score with a textbook set penis?

Pardew team talk coming up though.

Fuck off Nigeria, much as it may seem like it sometimes I'm not American.

He left earlier than that. Everyone ignored this heartfelt shit. If Mole hasn't sent the PM apologising yet he's a piece of shit IMO.

This game is breaking my spirit. Turned off my stream to read some Broncos training camp fluff pieces a half hour ago. Brilliant decision. Last thing I read about us is that our playbook is like 95 percent running plays. That's too much passing for you guys IMO. I really expect EJ to be better, man. Can't possibly be worse. You have a beautiful heart, Mike.

Rooney is more versatile and can do more things well than Shearer could, yeah. But would you rather have a world class striker or a very good one who can play in a few other positions if needed? Suppose he's better than the Brazilian Ronaldo too? That guy was an unstoppable striker, but you wouldn't see him drop back and protect the defense if needed would you?!
