In a nutshell. Would like him as 4th choice striker, and would keep him and sell Shola if possible. He'll work hard and put himself about and is always somewhat of a threat to grab a goal. Not enough talent to be first choice for a Premiership team though, unfortunately.

Delighted he got the goal, hopefully this will give him some confidence. Start him at Liverpool please Pardew.

Great result, any three points away from home is always worthy of praise. Big pros were Williamson looking solid and Ben Arfa getting a goal. Both players are going to be important if we're going to do well in the coming months. Negatives were how poor our wide players looked for much of the game. Credit to Obertan, he kept plugging away and set up the second very well, but for long periods he and Jonas were useless going forward.

Must be something up behind the scenes with Ben Arfa IMO. Dropping him after a few games and deciding Best, despite being pretty poor himself lately, is just a better option doesn't make a lot of sense. As for Obertan, I can see the sense in playing him. He does give us genuine width, which can't really be said of anyone else in the squad. Be nice if he actually did something useful once in a while of course, but I suppose that'd be asking a bit much.
