Hansen isn't. He basically called them cunts and Lineker was like, "What? For donating money to charity, you fucking spazz?" That was the gist of it at least. That's actually word for word what happened, aye.
-
Duncan Ferguson was a really good player at his best. Aye, and so is Carroll. He's having a terrible run of it right now, but we shouldn't forget that at times last year he was absolutely unplayable. He'll get it together and start playing well again at some point I'd bet, but his "issues" will prevent him being a consistently quality player.

Pandering towards the Asian market. It's working. I know 4 other people who are watching this match now when they'd normally be out to dinner/doing something else. This will translate into bigger TV deals in the very near future. Of course they'd be doing something else if the game wasn't on ffs, it'd be impossible for them not to.

He's the new Duncan Ferguson tbh.

How good has our start been? Looking at surprise packages

It's not gay if it's with Cabaye.

http://www.myfootballfacts.com/Mark_Lawrensons_Predictions_2011-12.html He has us in 15th place with 10 points and -8 goal difference. Just 12 places, 12 points and 14 goals off through ten games then. He has Wolves mixing it with the big boys up there in our stead somehow, he must be bumming McCarthy or something. Imagine those babies man, fucking hell. He has Wigan ahead of us.
-
Lawrenson's predictions this year have us on 10 points with -5 goal difference. We have 22 points and +8. Somehow he has Wolves in 6th place with 18 points (17th, 8 points) too. His predictions have Wigan 2 points ahead of us ffs.

A week to heal, three more to get his confidence back?

If I didn't hate Pip so very, very much I'd be inclined to comment on what a nice pair of posts those were.

Hard on the lad, had his best game for us against Stoke. Excited to see Marveaux get a proper go though, hopefully he'll make the most of it.

So Lee Ryder is Christmas Tree then? Makes absolute sense.
-
"it's our time with the fixture computer now." Makes it sound like some depraved fetish.

Was really encouraging to see him actually run at the full back with confidence last night, hopefully that assist will have given him a bit of a boost. Shame he didn't put away that chance late on, was a decent effort and had it gone he'd have been buzzing off his face going into the Everton game next weekend.
-
He's a glorious, glorious man. Great display last night.

Gonna be an interesting one. We're a fantastically well organised team at the moment, great spirit and togetherness about us too. I'd like to see us put together a really good performance at home though, one where we pin a team back for long periods and look genuinely threatening and play some good football in the process. The Wigan game we really struggled to create much when the onus was put on us to take the game to them, the Fulham game was a bit similar as well. Only game we've really pinned a team back was Blackburn, and honestly they looked a complete mess that day. I know Everton are a good side, but we're at home and absolutely flying at the minute so I'm hoping we can really go out and assert ourselves on them and play the game in their half for the most part. Have a feeling we'll nick it 2-1, but could really go either way tbh.
-
Anyway, not much to say that hasn't already been said tbh. Colo, Ba, Jonas and Guthrie were the pick of the bunch, but not a single poor performance from anyone really. Cabaye may have been our worst player on the night, amazingly enough. Brilliantly done, great time to be a Newcastle fan.
-
Even their penalty was fucking anti-football, just blast it as hard as you can down the middle.
-
Looked like the player you always thought he could be last night. Seemed in good shape, focused and committed which has rarely been the case the last few years. Hopefully he's got it together and can become a good squad player going forward, the talent has always been there.
-
Even their penalties are anti-football. Horrible soft decision like.

Yeah, Obertan for life!!
