Playing him on the left doesn't make any sense, but it doesn't excuse how poor he's been all year. Guy generally just doesn't look bothered, like he thinks he's above playing in the Championship or something. Genuinely reckon that the likes of Nolan, Smith and Butt are having a far bigger say in how we line up than any players should. Easiest way to accomodate as many of the "veterans" as we can by sticking 5 in midfield at all times.

Pity for Simpson, he's looked solid since joining. This would keep Ryan Taylor away from midfield though, on the plus side.

If we go with one up top at home to the bottom team in the division I may have to kill someone. Smith in for Butt and Ranger in for Nolan please. Jonas on the bench if he's able, though we really shouldn't need him. Reckon Smith will replace Guthrie and we'll keep it the same otherwise though.

But one is a 34 year old "holding midfielder" who had about 20 minutes of football under his belt all season. Sounded pretty shit. Anyway, we've probably taken more points from our previous games than we've deserved to so I guess there can't be many complaints. We've had a loss coming, tbh. Need to get our act together and rebound with a win at the weekend.
