Harper - 5 - Didn't have a whole lot to do, badly at fault for their goal. R Taylor - 5 - Typical performance from him. S Taylor - 7 - Thought he looked solid, will do very well in the Championship I think. Coloccini - 4 - Liability. Enrique - 7 - Solid at the back, does a great job of getting his body between the ball and his opponent. He'll really have to learn to use the ball quicker though. Duff - 6 - Horrible first half, but took his goal well and looked a lot more confident after that. Smith - 8 - Our best player. Some great tackles and generally was a presence in midfield. Encouraging stuff from him. Nolan - 5 - Laid on the goal brilliantly, was absolutely desperate apart from that. Jonas - 5 - Started off well but seemed to spit his dummy out after the goal and was desperate in the second half. Ameobi - 5 - Played better in the second half but still was pretty shite all in all. Carroll - 7 - The guy is a handful, if we can find a good partner for him I think he'll make a very good CF for us this season. Krul - 8 - Had 4 very good saves and really deserves a chance to start. Needs to work on the crosses. Barton looked good when he came on too. Hughton bottled it in the last twenty minutes tbh. Think we could have gone on to win it, taking off AC was a terrible decision, especially with Nolan having been so ineffective the whole game through. All in all, a very encouraging game for us though. With a proper manager in charge, this group are good enough to go straight back up. (Much like they'd have stayed up last year with a proper manager)

Good game tbf. Reckon we've left two points out there, but more positives than negatives from today.
-
Thank fuck for that.
-
Aye, game was there to be won. What a fucking keeper.
-
Good clearance from Nolan.
-
Good time to make a change tbf, we've slowed down a bit the last five minutes. Wouldn't have taken off Carroll though.
-
Will be disappointed if it's Carroll off.
-
Blatantly blinded by his hair. Just got this.
-
Blatantly blinded by his hair. He rarely ever uses his feet tbf.
-
Honestly thought Carroll was right footed...
-
Mind-boggling sentence to be reading, that.
-
Neither can cross the ball though, so we're fairly fucked either way.
-
Looked a foul that.

To think you were one of those who gave the most stick about Milner having no end product Jonas has been fucking awful man! He gets the ball, runs then loses it. There is no point in having pace if thats all you do. If it wasn't for the fact I don't think anyone could do anything with it I would want us to bypass him. Try and actually address the point of my post. What has he done going forward? I just find it hilarious you are trying to defend his end product, maybe his pretty hair does it for you. Where did I defend his end product? You were talking about people having a go because of "one bad pass" as said his pretty hair has dazzled you and you have missed his performance today because he has been worse than shocking. Everytime he gets the ball you just know its been wasted long before he dribbles it into the woeful yet thankful defender who has actually managed to tackle a player for once with his trademark "stick my leg out and hope he runs into it" style. The point was that people were slating him when there are numerous players who have been a lot worse. Duff, Nolan, Shola for example. Jonas hasn't been wonderful or anything, but he's actually done some positive things. Made some nice runs and put some shite balls in the box at the end of it (thought you'd appreciate that, actually). Won a few free kicks and generally looked for the ball rather than hide like others have. I'll take that over what pretty much everyone else out there is doing. And the pretty hair joke was shite the first time, not sure why you felt the need to revisit it.

Taylor and Enrique are shit. Jonas just can't be fucked. As for this "one bad pass" ... have you seen his final ball today? How many times has he picked out a yellow shit? Can't be more than 1 or 2 if we're being generous. Duff on to the left, Jonas off for LuaLua. Give someone with a bit of spine a try. Duff has done nothing. Bar set up their goal of course.
-
Aye lads lets all kill Jonas cos of one shite pass. One of the two players who actually has done anything going forward. Carroll being the other.
-
Ryan Taylor, Duff, Nolan and Shola. In over 40 minutes of football, each of those 4 are yet to do something in the least bit positive.
-
Happy for him, hope he does well at Villa.
-
Feel bad for Beye, was hoping he'd get a move to someone like Villa. Another relegation scrap next year beckons for him, Hull are fucking useless.
