Man, wish Leeds had scored there after that shite pass attempt from Simons
-
Woltemadesque from DCL there.

Been a good watch this.

Next summer my hope would be that GK and LCM will be the positions we target for players that are expected to go straight into the first team. With the Isak money I would be hoping that we can just go out and spend big on the absolute best GK that we can attract. No need to arse around hoping we can rehabilitate Ramsdale, and frankly I would hope we maybe aim a bit higher than Trafford too. The likes of Simon, Kobel, Costa, go get one of them and be sorted for the guts of the next decade. Joelinton will forever be a legend but it’s pretty clear that to take the next step as a team we need someone who’s better on the ball than he is. Maybe Ramsey absolutely takes us by storm this season but as of this moment it’s the weakest spot in our outfield strongest eleven IMO. If we can get two absolutely top class players for those spots, I would then be hoping we have identified some quality youngsters that we can bring in to round out the squad that hopefully won’t break the bank. I figure at some point we will figure out how to scout young prospects abroad, right? A quality backup for Hall at LB is an obvious area of need, fair chance this is the last season for both Schar and Trippier too so they'll need to be replaced in the squad. Possibility that we see Murphy move on too and bring in some different competition for Elanga, though I think we might not move on that for another season. An interesting one could be LW. Big season for Gordon, if he has another patchy one and we have a window to spend big then maybe we look to upgrade.

Good to see him making the most of his opportunities. The fact that he’s also comfortable playing wide (it’s possibly his best position) is a real plus for a third choice striker.
-
I mean I am pretty confident they’ll score two.
-
I could actually see us going for the 5-3-2 with Elanga and Gordon up front. Set up to invite them onto us and get their line as high as possible then look to spring those two. Agree that Woltemade starting tomorrow and again Sunday seems a big ask and we really need to avoid injury to him so maybe him not starting this game makes more sense, especially as Gordon is still suspended for Sunday.

Now now, he’s a very nice man lets never lose sight of that.
-
Incredible save, would have been some goal too.
-
What do you think will happen to him once Wissa is back?
-
Think the 5 at the back with Elanga and Gordon up top to exploit their high line makes a lot of sense in this one and might well be what we see.
-
Let’s honour him with a German song. Sonne by Rammstein. Eins, Nick Wol-te-ma-de Zwei, Nick Wol-te-ma-de Drei, He kind of looks like Rudi Voller Vier, Nick Wol-te-ma-de

I think for a team looking to compete at the level we are, Gordon as first choice LW and Barnes as his backup is about right. Barnes will be an excellent impact sub and when he needs to start games he has enough ability to be a viable option. He’s just out of form at the moment, he’s better than what he’s currently showing IMO.

I feel like you’ve misunderstood my post.
-
Feel like players like Sandro and Tino would be more likely to want to leave if we have a shite season than because we lost the posturing, personally.
-
I like that, good chance to get some points on the board early with three of the first four at home and the away game being the weakest team we’ll face
-
WELLLLLL!! Well it’s the Big Wo

If we’re committed to selling Isak then absolutely go out and buy someone like Lopez. Isak windfall combined with Champions League revenue this year should mean we can be pretty aggressive buyers over the next couple of years, build ourselves a cracking squad of young players so that if things get a bit tight on PSR in a couple of years we’ll be able to move on a player or two without it being too big a setback.

Bye Bye Bye Wissa Sebastian You were ten thousand candles in the wind.
