  1. Google say NUFC LONDON gather in the Cock & Lion. Just the 35 minutes away. It's an almost perfect amount of travel time for KO.
  2. SHEFF wed just took the lead against forest in the 183rd minute
  3. Surprised it took this long to be mentioned. All negativity about other elements are overridden by this.
  4. Forest 1-0 sheff wed. Henri Lansbury and his ridiculous hair with a obscenely fortunate looping deflection from a 25 yarder
  5. That whole report is just tip of the iceberg stuff for most knowledgeable fans tbh think it's just beneficial for non-nufc fans to hear this from a non-geordie perspective.
  6. Anyone posted this bad boy?
  7. This is the point really, it's like they thought they were signing James Milner. Either you want to tolerate his messing about or you don't, but if you don't then don't buy him. Partly HBA's fault as well since he must (or should) have talked to the manager before signing. Should have talked to the manager and said, 'Here, you mind if I turn up 3 clem overweight and couldn't give a f***?' Got an understanding of what was expected of him. Their are loads of examples, Ferguson allowing Cantona to do whatever he likes springs to mind. Either way it was a risky move if he didn't have a complete understanding of Emery, and it hasn't paid off. Emery probably had nowt to do with the signing tbh. I'm sorry like but it's all Ben Arfa's doing now. It's been Pardew's fault, it's been Bruce's fault, it's been Deschamps fault. There's only one common denominator. Emery was one of the main reasons he chose PSG. He'd previously tried to take him to Sevilla when it was obvious he was leaving Nice at the end of the season and then when Emery left Sevilla for PSG, he apparently persuaded Ben Arfa PSG would be the best move for him. Seems all the more stranger how quick he's given up on him though. Just want the lad to be playing regular football week in, week out cos he's one of the best players in Europe to watch when on form.
  8. No one is arguing that he's as good as he could be. We're arguing that it's ridiculous to drop him because he's not doing anything differently to normal. Yes he's a work shy pleb, but he's a class workshy pleb.
  9. I just can't believe we talkin bout practice
  10. I'm sure it does. Once it starts actually having an effect other than him being fucking class, come talk to me.
  11. Your body doesn't give a shit what sort of goals you score - if you don't maintain it, you're more likely to be injured or not in optimum shape for action. It doesn't take a fitness genius to work it out. wat I don't give a fuck about how Hatem's body feels. I care about what kind of player he is. And none of those things have actually happened.
  12. We've already won the Intertoto and that massive castle thing. Not a huge deal different to the League Cup nowadays. Bag-of-shit 2nd division Newcastle team flukes league cup via not actually playing anyone of worth and then beating Arsenal's U18s on pens. Something to tell the grandkids. If you can guarantee we knock out the first teams of Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea again, Arsenal and Barcelona, then I'll consider changing my vote.
  13. was really gutted he didn't do his push ups properly when he was scoring two of the best goals i've ever seen Newcastle score
  14. Look at fucking Pastore(?) next to him man He's just gyrating against the ground, on his elbows ffs. Hatem is clearly far more experienced a slacker.
  15. Or, your life has peaked and you should probably end it all right now because nothing will ever be better than this very moment.
  16. Aye, it's not feeling like the statement I was hoping it would become.
  17. Nah it was last night mate. 2-0.
  18. The ref was correct though, it was Serious Foul Play "A player is guilty of serious foul play if he uses excessive. force or brutality against an opponent when challenging for the ball when it is in play. − “Using excessive force” means that the player has far. exceeded the necessary use of force and is in danger of injuring his opponent." None of those things are even remotely true. It was Vurnon. There was zero force/brutality. It was just a late tackle. You absolute vagina. You conveniently missed out.... Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force and endangering the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play. Both feet were off the floor which means he is not in control of the tackle, studs were showing and endangered the safety of the opponent, its a clear red card and if it was the other way and it was a Wolves player you would have wanted the same outcome no doubt. The fact it was Vernon and he's about as big as an Umpa Lumpa has nothing to do with it I "conveniently" just pasted the first thing google showed me. I also "conveniently" didn't post the whole rule book. http://i.imgur.com/v08o8TZ.png In conclusion, "excessive force" is laughable. He went for the tackle in slow fucking motion, didn't go anywhere near him with studs, and kicked him with the top of his foot. It's a booking at the very most. And even then that's bordering on vagina territory. tl;dr: Absolute vagina.

  20. Football should be about winning trophies (not the Championship). Being able to get thumped of Sky's big boys wouldn't bring as much joy as a cup win. Aye but it isn't. There are different trophies with different levels of gravitas. And winning the league cup as a Championship team is just pointless. There's no pride in winning a tournament in which half the teams barely even try. It'd be slightly different with the FA Cup, but the bigger teams still don't really give a s*** until later rounds. Just seems really pointless being the shitty club that fluked a cup. I want to win trophies because we're the f***ing best, not because no-one else could be arsed. We aren't really going to be the best though are we. Man city and Liverpool both got to the final and took it seriously last season and Arsenal Chelsea and Leicester all had a decent team out last night. The better teams take the league cup more seriously than people think. If we had beat Arsenal in the final in 99 that wouldn't of made us the best. I'm sure we came about 11th that season too. Winning that final or the league cup as a championship team would both be as good Alright, I'm happy to downgrade from "the best" to "one of the best", or "competing to be one of the best". We finished 2nd the season before we finished 11th, so it's alreet. Achieving what the great Birmingham City achieved doesn't appeal to me a great deal.
