Thats what my dad said. But the the cunt should have scored with his right foot easy anyway.

Gerrard gets a free pass for 20 games now. He can play as shit as he wants and keep harping back to that goal.
-
Never a sending off in a million years for me. Missed the ball by a split second, foot wasn't overly raised and it looked far worse than it really was. He was never going to seriously injure someone with a tackle like that. On another note, Mancienne looks a canny player. Might be worth a cheeky bid in January.

OMGZ!!!! Aaron Lennon signing for Toon!! Stop drinking so much- you were either hallucinating or are currently too hungover to type the correct name.
-
Thank you Wayne Rooney! Once again you have produced a world class performance against one of the leading nations in the world- 9th largest country in the world you know!

Thirded. And it was fuckin baltic that night. I obviously didn't wrap up like his southern Manc ponces like.
-
Not too many then. I think the point I was getting at was that we don't really have that threat anymore. Can Zog, Oba, Jonas or Joey provide it? Just looking at games over the last few weeks you can see its an important feature of the game.
-
Just caught Shearers v Everton and it reminded me of that side. Shearer, Robert and Solano could all strike them as could Bernard. We even had Ambrose and Jenas who occasionally caught one well. Who do we have nowadays, (edit: except Oba)? I can't remember the last time someone had a strike from outside the box and I fancied it to go in. When was the last time we scored one? Or even came close to scoring one? I've been racking my brains for a bit and the one I came up with was N'Zogbia V Boro last year. Bit depressing if thats it. A whole season without a goal from outside the box.

I thought he responded really well second half. Attacked the ball far better, won the majority of tussles and was very calm at the back. He's taking a while to get used to the English game. It's to be expected. You don't get many centre forwards throwing themselves into challenges over in Spain. I'm confident he'll adapt though. His second half showing today suggests to me that he's more than capable of adjusting if need be.

Anyone who criticises Geremi can do one. Yes he;s slow, yes he dwells on the ball, yes he can't take corners, but he can deliver quality from wide areas. Take note Zog and Duff. Thats how to cross. -

Move colo to midfield. He has more quality in his little finger than that ginger cunt. Hope he's broke his fuckin back to be honest as we're down if he keeps getting picked. -

Guthrie is such an upgrade on Butt. Hassles well, works hard and most of all keeps the ball really well,Him and Joey might just work if they were ever given the chance. -

I wish Nicky Butt would fuck off. I think death is the only fuckin way he'll be out of the fuckin team. Shite for ages. He's worse than offering nowt. Smith was better. I honestly believe that. -
Given, Taylor, Cacapa, Colo, Enrique, Geremi, Guthrie, Butt, N'Zogbia, Duff, Owen. Not sure on subs. Possibly the best we can put out with the exclusion of Bassong for Cacapa.
-
This is a joke tbh. Bolton have left their half twice and scored twice. Green deserves shooting for both goals.
-
Football is fucking mint. Thats like a defeat to my Mackem mate. He's gonna be crushed.
-
I hate football.

So now those two are out we're left with a few blokes with very little wealth combined compared to other club owners. Add to that some bloke who's already been fucked off by Harry Redknapp when at Southampton to run our academy and it all sounds great. When did this Rupert bloke deny interest? I've not seen that either. He seems to be the big hitter out of the lot of them. Can't find much at all on this Cleland guy. If KK is really interested, I would imagine they must be talking decent budgets.
-
Surely the point of bringing in Clifford would be for him to develop the youngsters? And then when they're ready KK, or any other manager, would pick them? The manager wouldn't have to concern himself with the youth side. Wenger by all accounts lets Brady get on with it in the academy and then steals them when they're ready. KK might not be interested in playing a load of kids to the detriment of results, but he wouldn't be stupid enough to turn his nose up at youngsters ready to offer something.

Fuckin hell mate. You'll get some bites there.

How did we line up for the start of the game then? -
I;d like something like GIVEN BEYE COLO BASSONG ENRIQUE GEREMI GUTHRIE JONAS OWEN XISCO DUFF/ZOG I like the Geremi- Beye linkup and Geremi's crossing is something that Owen thrives on.I also like the system and Duff or Zog could easily play the Martins role- Playing onm the last man on the left, looking for that diagonal ball between the right back and centre half. That do just fine I think. The front two and midfield probably wouldn't be good enough to pullup any trees, but would be good enough for mid table.
-
All could be back next week. Lets bloody hope so. Have we had any definitive updates re the last 3?
-
I wouldn't go quite as far as to solely blame Butt for the defeat but he really is a joke. Unable to pass, not winning the ball and shown up completely by Cacapa today- who was no better than average. Fortunately, with his contract up at the end of the season he'll be gone soon. But I can barely stomach watching another match he plays in. Geremi, Guthrie and Jonas is the way forward for me. Geremi has actually looked good lately- his legs look to have returned somewhat and the quality he knocks in the box is underrated. Those three with Owen, Martins and Xisco/ Viduka fills me with a bit of confidence. At least in terms of keeping and passing the ball, and competing in midfield physically.
